SA did really well. It never looked likely that England could win but like you say - an amazing achievement to get second place.

Oh, that's always so sad. My doggie is 14 now. She's still fit with her bones but her heart is not good and you never know how fast - or slow - it will get worse.

 

Hope she has a few more years in her yet. ^_^

The bravery of the members of public who detained the terrorist is staggering though. I'm fairly sure I wouldn't be so brave.

The bravery was indeed amazing, thoughts are with all those who have suffered as a result of this.

Absolutely shocking what happened ,what kind of a world do we live that that we are not safe on our streets just going about our daily business ...

It's all a joke Elisabeth . I had my eye on a pair of shoes which have been reduced for weeks 120 - 80..anyway on Friday i went into the store & they had moved the shoes to a display at the other side & they had a sign which read 'Black Friday specials' & guess what the price was still 80 ...was I surprised - NO .

 

Another store had 20% off the price on the label & I felt that was a genuine reduction ....
