Should cyclists be allowed on pavements !!

Latest BBC morning question :P

I say No  , I nearly got knocked one evening on my way home from work by a cyclists going at high speed

In some countries it is legal , some cities in Germany allow it

That was on BBC Radio London too. I'd say no too unless there is no other way to keep moving forward.

Sugar !! just discovered there is a threat of a bus strike here this week, it's a long walk to work

Shortest distance for me to walk to work would be 32 miles, along a highway, that doesn't allow pedestrians....the long way round is about 72 miles, with the same issues for me...fortunately, I have a car to drive to get to and from work...

Agree . I hate everything he's doing but as someone pointed out today - he's doing exactly as he pledged in his election manifesto. He was voted in on that basis.

The thought of him getting a state visit..... :o

Did Hitler not get voted in as well & see what happened with him
Mr Big, what is the feeling now in the US about the Donald , are folks still supporting him or are they changing their minds  . I am thinking from a Republican point of view. I know LA is mainly Democrat so I wondered what the feeling is like in Florida

People just don't listen to the lessons from history though Tess, that's the problem.

If they did, we wouldn't keep on making the same mistakes over and over again.

I was listening to Malcolm Rifkind on Radio London this morning and he was saying we can't alter trade deals for the sake of populace opinion and what about China and the state visit etc etc and a small piece of what he was saying I could see the sense in, but it is hard to swallow the thought of rolling out the red carpet for a man like Trump. Plus the cost of the security in London while he's here. It will run into millions. Flipping waste of money entertaining the likes of him.

Out Taoiseach is going over on St paddy's day to Washington & to present a bowl of Shamrock to the Donald

The same Taoiseach said some awful things about him when the election was going on in the US which I am sure the Donald will remind him of

‘Showing up with a bowl of shamrock is an embarrassment’

Irish readers in US split over whether Kenny should meet Trump for St Patrick’s Day
