Magic Fly by Space and Donna Summer's I Feel Love from 1977 were so ahead of their time, they really started electronic music becoming popular. Gary Numan and Kraftwerk too are great early electronic music producers.

Don't Go and The Communards' Dont Leave Me This Way. The synthpop was great too. Talk Talk's It's My Life is one of my favourites and for rock, Genesis' Land Of Confusion is so catchy :music:

I like all these :)

I'm too old for Capital radio but listen to Heart London. They play some chart music. My absolute favourite at the minute in The Weeknd - I Feel it Coming.

I love that song so much at the moment.

Giorgio Moroder was way ahead of his time. B-)

You're never too old for any radio station. :D It's just personal choice.

Most chart music isn't great these days imo, preferred the 00s definitely. Love all the disco influenced dance tracks in the mid 00s like Thunder In My Heart Again by Meck and Leo Sayer.

Loved the late 90s too, Breakfast At Tiffany's by Deep Blue Something, Kiss Me by Sixpence None The Richer, You Get What You Give by the New Radicals, Dont Marry Her by the Beautiful South and Design For Life by the Manic Street Preachers I all remember and liked at the time. Blur, Pulp and Oasis were good too.

Yes he also produced Sparks' Number 1 Song In Heaven too

Isley Brothers from 1976 - Harvest for the World.

IMO one of the most beautiful songs ever written and still so relevant for today's world.

Beautiful hot summer in 1976 and just hearing this song reminds me of hanging out at school in the sunshine.

I do love that song as well Laura , yiu stil hear it on he radio every now & then

Billy Preston / Syreeta 1979 ' With You I'm Born Again '

This is my favourite of the 1970's , I actually have the vinyl single , the song always brings a tear to me eye

You're the same age as both my daughters. :) When they were little I used to play them This Town Ain't Big Enough For The Both of Us by Sparks. They used to love it.

Yes - gorgeous song Tess

I thought the Bruno Mars track tonight at the Brits was very 70s. I liked it. :)
I agree about Bruno Mars , very much has that 70's feel

Poor Claudio , sacked by Leicester City, no mercy

He made history for them though so i hope they remember that :)

Funny way management at Leicester remember that history....granted, they're having a subpar season this season, but crikey, sacking him at this stage? Guess I'll never fully understand how some owners think....I know I'll miss him....

I know - it's a bloody disgrace I think. Loyalty is a forgotten word these days.

Such a great song and ahead of its time TTABEFTBOU is.

A song I like from the 80s is 'Cry' by Godley and Creme (that high pitched vocal ending especially)

Papa Was a Rolling Stone

This is well worth a watch for just the clothes & the dancing

I love it
