October 12, 201311 yr The albums back up to #5 in Ireland on kworb I think that's a glitch, it's way lower on iTunes. Disco Love is guaranteed Top 5 for tomorrow. They've had a huge lead over Katy and James Blunt all week. One day is not going to make a difference. Edited October 12, 201311 yr by LoveKiller
October 12, 201311 yr You really think so? I wouldn't say it's guaranteed - James Blunt was #6 in yesterdays update, the girls were #5 and last night James went to #4 on iTunes with the girls flipping between #5 and #6 today on iTunes. I hope they make it but I don't think it's guaranteed right now. Edited October 12, 201311 yr by Encore

One day is not going to make a difference. Sales are higher at the weekend, though and he wasn't *that* far behind them all week. I still think they'll be #5, though. Can't believe they could end up overtaking Conor and Eminem soon. That's mad.
October 12, 201311 yr I agree it's pretty much guaranteed over the fact that James blunt was 0.38 on kworb and at #7/8 like 3/4 of the week. He's only just gone up and the EP sales are the things which have put him up to #6. The sats have basically been at 0.5 or a little under all week. It would take a long time for it to over take. Counting stars also took a day to surpass the sats and that was at#2 at the time
October 12, 201311 yr Don't The Saturdays usually have a consistent 2nd week too? Don't they usually hold up for a week and then drop? I think 'Disco Love' will be a bit more successful than that though tbh. It's looking good for them and I'm pleased they're looking at another potential top 5 smash!
October 12, 201311 yr If it had had the same drop the Saturdays usually have as well as the overtaking. There would be worries. But it's still selling.
October 12, 201311 yr They used to have a good second week, but after chasing lights era, their sales have halved the following week. Only exception is WBU, and it seems disco love will be an exception too Edited October 12, 201311 yr by vivek

All Fired Up went 3 - 5 - 15 which I found really weird. I've noticed with about 90% of their singles, their sales half in the second week of release.
October 12, 201311 yr All fired up never had great airplay and the reason it held up at #5 was because if huge promo during the first two weeks. It kinda dies after that :(
October 12, 201311 yr Surprise Surprise repeat was on ITV at 11:30am and they performed around 12:15pmish so they probably got a boost from that.
October 12, 201311 yr I'm 100% confident that a #5 position is guaranteed for The Saturdays tomorrow. The boost for James Blunt has come too late in the week, and tbh he's not really THAT far ahead of them on iTunes, popularity wise. I assume James Blunt will sell under 50k for Sunday, whereas The Saturdays will sell over 50k.
October 12, 201311 yr 2 Plus sides, top 5 is great, #6 would mean they have had a single at all numbers in the top 10, which is a great achievement

October 12, 201311 yr The Sats should be able to get ahead of Eminem, James Blunt and Katy Perry next week. Then I think Iggy Azalea and Lawson will overtake them. They should end up around #5-7 second week depending on how well they continue to hold up. Imagine if they were a non-mover! :cheer:

Imagine if they were a non-mover! :cheer: If they turned out to be a non mover or a climber next week, I'd reckon thay all the GA fans killed all the SATS fans and we'd be in heaven :P No but seriously. imagine a climb? This song is defo my fave release from them so far.
October 12, 201311 yr Lawson's overtake will be front-heavy, though surely? In regards to Iggy, I might be wrong, but I can't see her going higher than about 7/8? I think that if they are stable, they can overtake Conor quite easily, though.

October 12, 201311 yr There's less than a 10% difference between them and Eminem now. 4.86% between them and Conor (combined). James Blunt is starting to decrease. At this rate, and with the album promo next week, I think this will maintain quite well. I think a second week at #5 is completely possible. I'll be happy with them slipping to any spot in the Top 10 though!
