Isn't 'Counting Stars' being hammered by commercial radio? (Hence it becoming a hit in the first place). It doesn't really strike me as specifically 'not feeling like a big hit'. Perhaps less so than Katy/Jason etc. and indeed the majority of recent #1s - like someone pointed out in another thread it's been ages since we had a #1 that never sold 100k+ in a week and OneRepublic will almost certainly never manage that - but I think it's certain to rack up pretty huge sales by the time it leaves the chart.

I've not heard it once on any station I've listened to, but you can put that down to the fact the station I listen to is guitar-phobic :P

Extremely unlikely unless he gets another boost from something else. He's not even top 10 now and IIRC he made the iTunes top 10 twice last year during XF and missed out both times. He'll probably re-enter around the same area as when it was first used last year (i.e. ~#23). It climbed to its peak of #11 the week after that due to being used again on the next week's episode.

 

Unrelated: I have now finally heard 'Count On Me' hooray! It sounds different to what I was expecting, from the title I was kind of expecting something relatively weak (along the lines of 'Let You Go' and 'Time') but luckily it's much better than that. Top 5 please.
