In which case, why do you have Elissa top and Andy bottom?

Oh I didn't say I was voting based on gameplay. ;) Nobody comes close to Queen Elissa in terms of that season. I look at it more from the perspective of personality, likeability and such, but I do understand that others will be voting from the gameplay perspective. :P

Well that is just silly, and probably what I hated most about this show in the first place.

Again, perhaps the people you disliked displayed values that don't match your own, and you dislike them.. There isn't anything wrong with that.

Perhaps this show, the fans, and the players that sometimes celebrate the villainous characters leads you wanting more.

Amanda wasn't even a good game player in her own right, TBH. She relied on other people winning competitions and making decisions when they were in power so that she could get further than she would have if she just stayed quiet (or at least, quieter than she was). Obviously she played the game well by manipulating people into making those decisions and getting that far, but otherwise she was fairly shit, and such a disgusting person.

Being able to control the house without actually winning anything or having any direct power IS good gameplay! The aggression however was not.

Would she have been even half as powerful as she was without McCrae, though? She probably would have had a breakdown had she tried to manipulate people the way she did if she were doing it alone and it backfired on her.

How do I rank this?! Amanda is odious, a cartoon character, and dominated the show, which is exactly why she's such good TV even if she's a terrible, terrible person. Something similar goes for many others.

+16 Amanda

So it looks like I'm misandric.

Haha, See?

It's not as straight forward as the nice people always getting to the end.

If that was the case, and the value that the producers were looking for, we wouldn't have just finished our 15th season, because people would have been bored and turned it off.

Amanda was good TV, but a terrible person. However when you can balance out the Evil/TV Value and other things, I think you can enjoy the show alot more. Much of this is very subjective to the person.

I see and respect your decision. I wasn't basing any of my voting on what value propositions you were evaluating.

However, I will say I respect your decision even more - I've seen people (not here) respect Elissa strictly on the fact that she was either Rachel's Sister, or they felt bad for her. That I don't respect.

I would assume Amanda probably would have found another secure alliance without McCrae being there, and that person perhaps would have looked out for her as McCrae did.

I'm assuming that person would have kept her in line similar to McCrae.

However, that's an opinion, I guess we will never know.

Yeah I didn't really base the fact that I liked Elissa upon her being Rachel's sister (I hadn't even watched the show before this season and didn't have a clue who Rachel was ). I did feel bad for her, though, but that was just because of the way Amanda was treating her; on a more personal level than she did with any of the other houseguests. She was a good gameplayer in the end, though (when she EVENTUALLY won HOH :heehee:, even if it did backfire on her), and she was really just a QUEEN throughout the whole series.

I respect that you're voting from the gameplay perspective though because that is of course the basis of the show and very unlike the UK version where it is a people show and more about personality, etc.

I'll give Elissa credit - She had some golden moments in the house and on the show. More than most people did.

"SHUT. UP. AMERICA" and the whole Math thing in the veto competition were hilarious.

She really has become a parody, even in my group of friends which I love.

They really hit Elissa on the head (further into the season especially).

I respect good gameplay even from people like Aaryn and people voting based on gameplay (although not how I ranked). What I'm genuinely interested to know though was how Elissa came to be at the bottom below someone like David who was in the show for less than five episodes? I don't think her gameplay was that bad, she certainly wasn't up to the standard of some greats but I'd respect her gameplay more than say Spencer - being dragged to final three and being on the block a record number of times isn't how you'd go into the house intending to play imo.

Despite his absolutely beautiful body that was a pleasure to look at for the time he was in the house, Jeremy had one of the most vile personalities of the summer and was probably most known for wine-gate where he exchanged heated words in the iamspamamispamwhoamspam to a confused and upset Helen who only wanted to know what had happened to the bottle of wine that was for sharing; and that the have-nots had not had any of until they came back into the house. Despite Aaryn actually drinking some of the wine, Jeremy insisted on protecting her and made himself an enemy to many in the house and as he continued to bully people and call them out for different things (and, of course, after his involvement in The Moving Company [the first alliance to be made in the season] was crushed), he was sent packing in the third week by a vote of 9-1-0. He wasn't missed, but his body certainly WAS.

One point ahead of the gorgeous Jeremy is the absolutely foul Spencer Clawson who managed to disgust the majority of Big Brother USA viewers during his time in the house this summer. Not only was he the laziest HouseGuest and did not win any competitions apart from one HOH when there were only three of them remaining, and the luxury competition which doesn't really count because he didn't have to do much to win $10,000 - but he was also responsible for making remarks into McCrae's microphone (apparently for a joke) about how child pornography is a good watch, and how it's good when you can tell they're in a basement (surely nobody wants to be reminded of them so I won't continue). Spencer was the most nominated HouseGuest in the history of Big Brother USA, and somehow managed to make it to the final 3 where he only managed to come third because Andy and GinaMarie had promised one another that they would go to the final together. Not the best HouseGuest of the summer, nor was he entertaining at all... He was just very irritating.

Nice to see Spencer almost nearly bottom. Foul.

In his defense though, I'm sure he also won one veto comp

Hold on, let me try and actually remember something (or some things) about this now non-existent person... Oh yes, he was the love of Aaryn's life after the pair of them met and held hands for a day and sat on a hammock together and had a flirtatious moment of stupidity. David was evicted in the first week of the summer, probably down to how much of a boring shit he was, and Aaryn wasn't too happy with her fellow HouseGuests as they chose to evict him by a large majority. Definitely this summer's most forgettable HouseGuest and somebody who wasn't exactly missed (apart from by soppy Aaryn who required consolation for weeks on end after his departure).

David going first was perhaps for the best. I think he had more potential but he'd have hung with the wrong crowd most likely, I kinda liked him out of the house because of the way he distanced himself from Aaryn as much as possible (but how could he not given the public reaction) and supported Elissa on twitter.

Oh yes, now we arrive at one of the most horrible HouseGuests of the summer - Kaitlin. Not only was she a snide bitch, but she also allied herself with Aaryn and made herself look bad as she sat on the bed and did nothing while racist remarks where flying left, right and centre. I can't actually remember much about this monstrosity of a person at all, but all I do know is that she was a smug arse when she was edging closer to a win in HOH/veto competitions, and my face was nice and bright when she got sent packing. She was probably worse than Jeremy, as bad as he was during the whole wine bottle fiasco.

"monstrosity of a person" lolwut  Kaitlin was the nicer one of the Aaryn/GM/Kaitlin trio, without a doubt, and she realised whilst in the house that she'd aligned herself with the wrong people. Such a shame she went early on but she was a strong competitor.
