Now we arrive at probably the second most controversial HouseGuest of the summer (hmm, actually depends where you look at it from - I'd say she was the most controversial in terms of the comments she made and what she did in the house, while Spencer was the second most controversial with the foul and vile comments he made; Amanda would probably come top for some people though considering the bully that she was, but she was good until she entered self-destruct mode halfway through the season...). Not only was she a raging homophobic person and confirmed racist - making comments about not being able to spot Candice were you in a dark room, and, as disgusting as he is, making comments about Andy's sexuality... From the end of the first week when the so-called love of her life was evicted, she made a point of being the whining little bitch of the season and trying to make people feel sorry for her. She was also nothing more than a means of other people playing the game for themselves... None of the major competitors could win any competitions so they relied on Aaryn to win for them and make the decisions for them that they couldn't due to lack of power. The sad thing is though, she didn't really play her own game at all until the near-end of her time in the house. Something else probably worth noting is that she was best friends with GinaMarie who was one of the best HouseGuests left in the end, and their relationship was quite nice to watch when there weren't vicious words being passed around the house...

I think Kaitlin is an alright person deep down and she just mixed with the wrong crowd. Her exit interview was OK and she's held herself well outside of the house.

It saddens me the kind of person that Aaryn is because putting her personality aside she was a great competitor and someone that I would otherwise root for til the end. 8th place isn't a good end result for someone who kept winning competitions like she did but I wouldn't say she deserved better..the interview after her eviction was one of my favourite moments of the season, not for her of course.

"raging homophobic" isn't quite how I'd describe her. Obviously her comments were disgusting and I don't condone them, she's not a "raging" homophobic for making one or two comments really. I liked Aaryn towards the end when she stopped with the derogatory comments, wouldn't have minded her staying a bit longer.

Beating her best friend in the house Aaryn by only two points yet disappointingly failing to make the top 10 is the summer's runner up, GinaMarie. She went from being absolutely horrendous when the season began to being possibly the best that was left of all the driftwood that was in the final/semi-final. I find it hard to understand how people (well, some people) can forgive Aaryn for her racism and say that she went on to become a good game-player yet can't seem to forgive GinaMarie when nearly all of what she said wasn't broadcast, was it? If Aaryn had actually played her own game all of the times she won HOH she may have gone further in the competition, but she was of no use to anybody else. GinaMarie wasn't exactly the best game-player but she made big moves when she needed to (what was the big move she made with the Exterminators?). Although she had her ups, who can forget one of Elissa's many MOMENTS recognised in GIF form (see below)? Her lust for Nick after he left did become quite creepy at times, keeping belongings that most people probably wouldn't - anybody would think she was never (like, ever) going to see him again, and he didn't seem *that* interested in her when she came out of the house... All in all, definitely should have won out of the three that were left in the final, and losing out to Andy the rat was quite a bummer.

Both as bad as each other. She was terrible, I fail to understand how anyone could like her. AMANDA NEXT.

So just sneaking into the top 10 and beating GinaMarie by three points is probably one of the biggest talking points of this summer's season - Amanda. From the first week she was crawling into bed and giving McCrae all kinds of sexual favours he had never been offered before, being the pizza delivery boy that he is. Their relationship blossomed over the course of the season and it was as if they were joined at the hip. Nobody else mattered to the infamous McCranda - it was their way or the highway. Week after week they continued to make the biggest game moves and the biggest decisions as each HOH looked to them for advice and wanted to know who they would nominate and who should win the POV competition. Despite having such a massive influence over the house, it's hard to comprehend how some of the house fell under her illusion for so long when she was nothing but a bully. I mean, she can claim all she likes that it was part of her game and that she wanted people to fear her so she could advance in the game, but there's being a manipulative little bitch for the sake of winning the game and then there's being... a manipulative little bitch. Probably the most uneasy and upsetting scene of the summer was watching Amanda bully Elissa in the iamspamamispamwhoamspam before Elissa took the moral high ground and went up to her HOH room (that's right, HOH room - something Amanda was always in but wasn't in a a result of winning any HOH competitions). She was however evicted from the house before the love of her life, and having a mental breakdown and finding out that Andy the rat was lying to her and playing both sides of the house... She also gave Elissa her ring back, which was very nice to see! Just how long will McCranda last outside of the house, though?

Absolutely vile. At least the worst ones are out of the way now. Elissa, Candice & Jessie for Top 3! :D

Did I really give 12 points to someone who only made it to the final because everyone knew she couldn't play the game properly OH GOD (in all fairness, playing dumb is a legit strategy but I seriously doubt she was actually, well, strategising like the others were)

They were both ridiculous, OTT characters tho.

YUCK at both GM and Amanda. Was only rooting for GM at the end because she was the best of a SERIOUSLY bad bunch. :(

Unfortunately flopping at #9 when he really should be in the top 5 is Nick who was evicted in the second week of the summer and the Moving Company alliance was majorly affected by this - it ultimately led to their destruction. His eviction was just the beginning of the elimination of the strongest characters and the strongest game-players so that weak players and floaters could advance to the later stages of the game (see Spencer; well he was a bit of a game-player but he was just so 'in the middle'). And of course let's not forget that Nick was THE definition of FIT so of course it was a shame to see somebody as good as him leave in the early stages. But of course, probably one of the biggest things that happened to him in the house (or rather, after he left the house) was GinaMarie's constant lust and pining for him. Like has already been said, it didn't look as if he cared for her at all when she got out the house, so I wonder what he's up to now...? Any girl (other than GinaMarie) would be very lucky, methinks.

Nick wasn't THERE long enough to warrant a top 5 placing IMO, especially when there are more deserving people. He was decent and would've happily had him stay a few more weeks but he was a strong player so not a shock that he went out early.

The eventual winner of this summer's season, Andy, would only have finished eighth had you got your way, and what a remarkably fantastic result that would have been... He was nothing but a rat in the house. He got away with nearly everything and was ultimately the reason that Elissa was evicted from the house and didn't win like she should have done. He played both sides of the house and dipped in and out, here and there and it took him all the way to the end. McCrae and Amanda thought they could dispose of him easily enough but then they discovered that he was in fact not loyal to the alliance that they had, and when they reunited in the jury house, well... their faces were pictures. Not only was he annoying in the house, but he was annoying every time he came into the diary room to have a little chat or to slag somebody off silently behind their back, and he was just extremely unpleasant to watch. There were so many people more deserving of the win than him, although when you look at it from the perspective of game-play, he was the only person who wasn't rattled and revealed until the very end when McCrae and Amanda realised that they made the massive mistake that they did...

McCrae Olson

Coming out on top of the McCranda duo is of course the male half of the two - McCrae. Not only would he have come out on top with you lot, but he did finish above Amanda in the season itself. It was always going to be difficult for the pair if they were separated before the end of the game and one of them lasted longer than the other because they spent nearly all of their time together after their very first rendezvous in the HOH bedroom together - but after Amanda left the house McCrae's game seemed to be all up in the air and he didn't have a clue what he was doing. He couldn't think straight, he couldn't trust anybody - and everybody wanted him out because he was the only threat left for them to "exterminate". Although, before McCrae left he did however choose to evict Elissa from the house, not knowing that it was actually Andy to blame for whatever reason he wanted her gone. When he got to the Jury house, he and Amanda conspired, both realising it was Andy and that they had been fooled. McCrae was the winner of the first HOH competition and he was immediately seen as a threat to the rest of the house, although why go against one of the biggest threats when you can cuddle up to them and become what will probably be a partner for life in the form of Amanda? He wasn't really that likeable at the beginning, but as the weeks went on he became really quite adorable, although let's all just take a moment to pray for him because you know that being out of the house Amanda will be the controlling half of the relationship (unless that was just her game-head (lol)).

If we remove Amanda from the equation, McCrae was a really good houseguest and player I think. She damaged his game too much. He's still one of my favourites from this season though.

And DESERVEDLY SO. You did a fairly reasonable explanation at why Andy won there so I don't get why you think he wasn't 'worthy' and Elissa somehow was? I mean, the latter was in a very similar, off-the-radar position to Andy for the middle portion of the game but the two differ in that Elissa didn't get off her arse to actually figure out what was going on and do some scheming. FLOATER PRIDE.

Howard was last to be evicted before evictees would enter the Jury House... bless him, how unfortunate. He was known in the house for being kind-hearted, despite all of the racist comments that were made during the season, some of which were directed towards his "best friend" Candice. He tried to stop her from retaliating and calmed her down before they cuddled up together (and probably had more fun than we are aware of behind-the-scenes). He was aligned with the Moving Company at the beginning of the season, but all of that fell apart after Nick left the game, and when all of them just disintegrated to being their own players. Anyway, there's not much to write about this BLAND MESS of a housemate, and Christ knows how he managed to get this many points from you all, and even be in the top 10...
