Would be so happy with a Trifoski win here, Given The Chance is one of my favourite songs of the year and I should have stuck to sending it a couple of contests back... however I didn't so it's my loss and I'll be entirely behind TEAM SEVENSEIZE.

OK, there's 2 entries I've bought, one is the greatest ever song written by a Country great, and the other is the best Bowie cover of this century so far. There's a fab new one to me too that I've never heard before (so far, I'm about one third through the entries). I hope all 3 make the final!

 

Just as a nugget of info, Britney had the good taste to record and bad taste not to release (in 2003) OMD's demo-for-her Pulse, so they did it themselves on their last album - and they also had the bad taste not to release it as a single! Of course I could just be a biased minority (again) about it..... :lol:

We did ask Griff to replace his entry earlier today. We did not veto the entry from Euphoriffith. It was judged that it was not significantly different from the cover version that was entered last year (after all the BJSC XLII entry was just a lazy cover of the original) so we ruled that the entry broke the rule relating to cover versions and thus would have to be replaced prior to the contest beginning.
