I knew he'd not come out with anything like Whitney Houston but that song was just as bad as I dreaded... He does have a nice voice but it was SO SO SO dull - even moreso with the """contemporary""" production. 3/10

It's an amazing song, but proto-Buble was never going to be able to do it justice.

One dodgy note, so close to being another vocally perfect performance - nailed the big note though. He does admittedly lack a bit of stage presence which they need to help him with but vocally, he's definitely amongst the best.

Nicholas McDonald - Vocally decent, he definitely can sing but nothing about it excited me. The song choice was uninspired and he has no charisma or anything about him to really get on board with. If I didn't know that vocally we will probably get much worse tonight this score would probably be quite a bit lower just because he is so bland. - 6.0/10.0

I can understand these comments of criticism more tbh, he is a very good singer, but I guess he's a bit Joe McElderry. Still, imo, he's definitely got one of the best voices in the competition and primarily that's what the contest is about, so I'm surprised he's getting such a slating on here.

Hannah was great vocally - and surprisingly interesting too. I was expecting a far worse start to the lives. I am finding Nicholas incredibly annoying as a person but to be fair to him, that was a nice performance. Possibly a tad forgettable however.
