From The Country of Mulgracia, we would just like to thank everyone that has supported us this year! It's been a massive improvement for us versus the last two years and we couldn't have been half as successful without you all!

Thanks guys ^_^

Most successful entries by positions placed.

Rationale | Fuel To The Fire | 01/42 (327 points)

LEV | Shadow | 08/44 (212 points)

Elicit | I Wanna Be Your Lover | 11/42 | (231 points)

Rosette | Sweetest Mistake | 16/41 (198 points)

Harper | White Lies | 19/42 (194 points)

Project 46 Feat. Ava Koci - Take Away The Pain | 19/42 (183 points)

Dash Berlin, John Dahlback & Bullysongs - Never Let You Go | 31/41 | (163 points)

Dannic & Shermanology | Wait For You DNQ 20/28 (40 POINTS)

Lema & Christina Novelli | Magnetic Nights DNQ 22/32 (50 POINTS)

Shaan & Lauren Evans | Light Up The World DNQ 27/32 (33 POINTS)

With 7 qualifiers vs 3 dnq's this year it is one of the most successful out of all the nation's this year but I guess the question is can we top it next year?

Thanks again!

Top 50 favourite BJSC tracks 2015 | coming soon!
  • Author

Kicking off our top 50 tracks of bjsc is the top 10 Mulgracian entries this year. Stay tuned as Ms Mulgrew tells you her best entries this year and her worst entry.

We spoke to a few countries before hand regarding Mulgracias performance and such.

This is what they had to say.

Deandria: "Fuel To The Fire  It's great but Mulgracia should send something that's worth more than 2 points. It just doesn't cut it."

Taahino: "Mulgracia should abandon the dance block and come to the dark side where we appreciate guitar solos. Lev - Shadow is our favourite and we would appreciate more entries like that."

Pupok: "Mulgracia slayed 2015 "

Cor Lupus: "Mulgracia is one of those countries that tends to surprise in more ways than one. When our country came in, most of the other participants were wondering if they had something more to offer than progressive trance. This year, they've taken risks that paid off, but they also never forgot their roots, as shown with acts such as Dash Berlin and Rosette.

My advice to Mulgracia for next year would probably be to: a.) stay great, considering Cor Lupus has given them points every contest, and b.) find a balance between your new sound and your roots. Your indie tracks are BEYOND, but every once in a while people need something to dance to at a club, right?"

The other countries were unavailable for comment but Aeroche did have this for say about one entry in particular earlier in the year.

Aeroche: "you shouldn't have sent that project 46 song. You should have sent Beautiful (It Hurts). I think it would have done better"

Dannic & Shermanology - Wait For You

DNQ 20/28 (40 POINTS) | BJSC 71

I was still set in my generic dance ways at the beginning of the year. After listening to all of our entries sent this year it is definitely our worst. Mulgracia will not be sending anything like this for the foreseeable future.

Dash Berlin, John Dahlback & Bullysongs - Never Let You Go

Semi Final - Q | FINAL - 31/41 | (163 points) | BJSC 75

Still stuck in our generic dance ways. I actually really liked this at the time but again, listening to it today, it's just a really poor entry compared to the majority of what's been sent this year.

Project 46 Feat. Ava Koci - Take Away The Pain

SEMI FINAL | Q | FINAL | 19/42 (183 points) | BJSC 77

Another mega poor entry from Mulgracia but this is ATLEAST better than the other two tracks. Aeroche's president advised me personally to send an alternate song by the same artist and ultimately now I'm inclined to think he was correct.

Deandria: "Fuel To The Fire  It's great but Mulgracia should send something that's worth more than 2 points. It just doesn't cut it."

2 Deandria points cuts it a bit but imma need your entries to cut harder :kink:

Elicit | I Wanna Be Your Lover

Semi Final - Q | Final - 11/42 | (231 points) | BJSC 74

This is not a bad song by any means but I really love everything else we've sent this year. This was the Jadakissnia president favourite song entered by Mulgracia this year and we can see why. Thus far it is Mulgracia only entry into the house genre. It just missed the top 10 for us and also is the second highest grossing during a final points wise for us this year.

Rosette | Sweetest Mistake

SEMI FINAL | Q | FINAL | 16/41 (198 points) | BJSC 80

I would say this is sort of joint with the previous song for us. It's neither here nor there but thay could just be because we discovered it a few months ago.

Shaan & Lauren Evans - Light Up The World

DNQ 27/32 (33 POINTS) | BJSC 72

Disagreeing with Bre here but this is my fave slice of Genericness that I've sent all year. There's just something about it that I really love. I don't even know what it is

Lema & Christina Novelli - Magnetic Nights

DNQ 22/32 (50 POINTS) | BJSC 73

I wad absolutely gobsmacked at this dnq'ing as were a lot of other people at the time, or ATLEAST that's what I gathered from the reaction. The only reason I could think of for its ultimate Denial into the final was that it was in the wrong semi.

YAY! My winner and ultimately the bronze medal position here. As soon as I heard it I knew that it was gonna get sent but I had no idea how well it would be received and it was a welcome surprise when it won in the end.

LEV | Shadow

SEMI FINAL | Q | FINAL | 08/44 (212 points) | BJSC 76

This was just pipped to the post as my fave thing that I sent this year but really I think my top 3 are all of the se quality. Heck even I prefer my non dance entries. That says a lot about my country :kink:

Harper | White Lies

SEMI FINAL | AQ | FINAL | 19/42 (194 points) | BJSC 79

I can't say I wasn't disappointed with this finishing 19th bit it's still miles better than my AQ finish second last in 2014.

This is my favourite because well it's slightly darker, rockier, and more deep than anything I've sent before bar Rationale but this is more thE opposite of the tracks that JAMVALE was sending. THE ANTI JAMVALE TRACK if you will.

That completes the countdown of The top 10 Mulgracian entries 2015

The top 50 buzzjack songs as picked by Ms Mulgrew will be starting this afternoon once we've finally ordered them.

To be completely honest, I rather liked 'White Lies' at first and probably updubbed it on Dubtrack a couple of times, but it wore off with many listens I'm afraid. Glad to see 'Fuel to the Fire' at #3 at least

I'm inspired to do something similar soon.
