If I remember correctly this song didn't do very well at all and that is a shame but I still don't understand why it didn't, (if I'm right) lol. It's so good. Especially the vocals at the beginning. NOW I know strictly speaking it's not singing therefor no vocals technically but it's stoll wondrous all the same! Congrats NUMBERS :wub:

Some really interesting left-field picks in the top 10 actually, I support that, even if they're songs for the most part that went past me. Telescope and Stockholm are both pretty lovely though.

Ooh cool number 1! That song only got 1 point from me in the contest but it suffered from it being a really strong edition on the whole. Plus I was in Portugal for most of 86 so I didn't really get the chance for songs to grow on me during the voting window. Lovely vocals and standout production, anyway! :heart:

 

An even better #2! I was a bit of an Altyr Muunilinst stan last year so it was a bit weird how I hadn't pointed them at all this year... until 'Closer To Life' came along of course! A pretty unique and commanding song despite it being pretty delicate and subtle. Proof that a song doesn't always need to be out there to grab your attention.

"Smoke Signals" was amazing for what it's worth but got knocked down for it being a pretty strong contest. Been digging their next single "Fixed On You" as well, be sure to check that one out! :heart:

'Smoke Signals' is a real grower of a track, I didn't vote for it at the time but it has stuck around quite well for me. Pretty good #1 ~ Really like the rest of your top 3 too, justice for Crywolf in Rejects again pls! x

Great pick with Akureyri in the top 3, such an unjust DNQ for Crywolf (you could say I know how that feels ;o), a beautiful song, like a lot of his material.
