So many jokes to make, but I don't think Britney fans could take them.

The Mirror are reporting Perry, One Direction and the Elton/Gary duet for the final.

Can we please remember that Olly Murs has had three albums and combined he still hasn't eclipsed the sales of Leona's first album?

 

 

One Direction, worldwide yes are more comercially successful.

 

In terms of this country, the UK, Leona is still the most successful act to come from X-Factor.

And Leona is still the only X Factor act to have ever had a Billboard #1.

 

And a Billboard #1 album.

 

And both at the same time :)

1D have had 2 Billboard #1 albums.

 

Leona having huge album sales with one album at a time when album sales WERE significantly better (not talking a one year gap bhere for any lurking Umis) does not mean she's still bigger overall in the UK than Olly Murs who has had consistent massive success over 3 albums - and much bigger hit singles from all 3, again bar one by Leona.

You don't measure someone's success solely on sales of ONE album. If someone had out-of-this-world phenomenal sales for one album and then became C-listers, then they're obviously not more commercially successful than someone that has maintained really good and stable sales for all their albums and singles.

He does. I think the "exhaustion" thing is just b.s. to hype the performance more. But he was terribly managed, he had so much potential and his winning single reached extremely high position all over Europe and in Australia which was very shocking. And he ruined it all with his terrible attitude.

I thought it was interesting how they barely even mentioned him on the 10 Year anniversary this week. They got Alexandra Burke, Shayne Ward, Olly Murs, Little Mix, Joe McElderry and Leona Lewis in as mentors, and Olly performed, but James didn't get a look in (except for a few seconds at the start when they showed photos of all nine winners)

 

Tamera sang "Impossible" but they didn't even mention it as James's song, just a winners single, if I recall correctly.

Yeah, they've pretty much ignored Matt Cardle since he's won as well.

I also noticed when they announced James was performing next week the reaction was not overly strong.

Well neither was Rebecca's reaction as well but the reaction are never that good after Dermot announces who is performing on Sunday for next week as the Audience are still distracted by the result of who's just been Elminated .

It's probably the two most exciting guests they've had this series so far (although saying that 1D were fab).

Them being your favourites so far doesn't mean they're the most 'exciting' for everyone. :P I'd say overall the most exciting we've had were Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry (even if, IMO, the former gave quite a lacklustre performance).
