October 15, 201311 yr Ellie Goulding was w**k on the x factor yesterday. Robin Thickle will obviously perform his pervy anthem Blurred Lines. But he has a brand new single out that very day, I'm sure he'll perform his new single 'Give It To U'
October 15, 201311 yr Will Katy be performing 'Roar'? Probably 'Unconditionally' seeing as it premières today (I think).
October 16, 201311 yr Ugh I don't like Robin Thicke, I am surprised James Arthur is not on that week! Also at Union J not being on. :o
October 16, 201311 yr She needs to perform the new track simply because there is no point in promoting Roar anymore. Edited October 16, 201311 yr by *Rob*
October 16, 201311 yr I think she'll sing Roar. Maybe she'll do Roar with the contestants and then Unconditional solo but, if she only has one performance slot, I feel like she'll perform Roar.
October 16, 201311 yr Just going off the past occasions when she performed, I think we can expect her next single, since other times she performed and was in-between singles she performed the new one (Firework and The One That Got Away). I think the UK was the very first country where Firework went top 10 because of that.

Yes, but she hasn't performed Roar on British TV once and I highly doubt she'll officially start TV promotion without singing the first single. She'll be back in Europe in November so she'll probably promote Unconditional then.
October 17, 201311 yr I can see the contestants possibly singing 'Roar' as their group performance and Katy promoting 'Unconditionally' - it'd have a good effect for both songs.
October 18, 201311 yr I read today in the Metro that The Wanted were so desperate for an X factor slot that they are travelling from Mexico (I think) at a cost of £250,000 just to perform this or next week (cant remember) @Show me Love (America) before rushing back to do a gig. I don't know where those figures come from, but it doesn't seem worthwhile. they have a lot of radio support and have already released 5 songs from this album.
October 18, 201311 yr The song's decent enough but they must be really desperate to make it a hit after 'We Own the Night'. Not really worth it though, I'm sure we'd survive if we didn't have to see two majorly irritating people, two fit people and one that's just DOWN THE MIDDLE on a Sunday night. :heehee:
October 19, 201311 yr I honestly don't understand why The Wanted always have performance slots on the X Factor. They're hardly that relevant. I thought it was just so X Factor acts could get airplay at Capital but X Factor acts are mostly snubbed by Capital, aren't they? So I guess week 3 is The Wanted and James Arthur... or will James Arthur only be featured later on to promote his second single/album? Edited October 19, 201311 yr by André
October 19, 201311 yr Tbh, I am surprised they ditched Union j who are releasing as well in favour of a rival band whom they have no loyalty to. It is hardly that they could justify this by arguing the The Wanted are a big booking for X factor. Unless Union j are on next week to prompt the album instead of the single.
October 19, 201311 yr Union J must be on next week and James Arthur the week after as there albums are out around that time and they probably want to promote the Album more than the single . Edited October 19, 201311 yr by troylovesmusic

The Wanted are on next week though - and will One Direction possibly be on to promote 'Story of My Life' or do you think they'll hold off to promote 'Midnight Memories'? If Union J want to promote the album at all next week is their last chance, TBH.
