Are you on the X Factor production team or a part of Gaga's entourage?

Already did but thanks for the heads-up Lady Gaga.

You're welcome, André. http://gagadaily.com/public/style_emoticons/default/toofunny.gif

Katy wiped the floor with Robin Thicke tonight, i think Katy performed Roar to get another platinum single plus was thinking of driving her album sales of prism.
I find it amazing this year the guests are good but shocking at the same time. They havent even gotten James on yet to perform which i was gobsmaked by let alone Union J, Jahmene and Ella. You would think they would back their talent they unearth. As well with it being the 10th anniversary you would expect people like Amelia Lily, Misha B, Cher Lloyd, JLS, Uniion J etc. all on to show what the show has done.

James will be on to push his album - I think the XF have made the right decision this year tbh, They are struggling for viewers, so much better to pull in some big names like Katy, Robin, Gaga etc, than to get Amelia and Misha to perform who are both probably on their way to being dropped!

Ella's album isn't coming until March 2014 (still TBC) so I expect she'll MAYBE be on The Voice instead?
So is the X Factor gonna be literally the first time anyone gets to hear Venus? Cos if it is, that's really quite exciting! I can't remember a previous X Factor performance which was a never-heard-before world exclusive.

No i don't think it will be :P

It's premiering on Friday apparently, this will just serve as the first live performance of it. I think they did a similar thing with 'Born This Way' at the Grammy's where they billed that as the world exclusive of the song when it had been out for a few days previous to that.

Or possibly the first mimed performance of it?

:manson:

Why would she mime it? I'm sure she'll be supported by a backing track but I'm 99% sure she'll sing live.

Since when does she mime, she always sings live with a backing track to support her voice.

:D

CALUM IN SHOCK GAGA SHADE colour me not surprised. yawn.

This might be a controversial view, but I actually think a James Arthur performance would have attracted more viewers than a Robin Thicke performance. I mean Robin Thicke is hardly a household name, sure he had a million selling single this year, but I bet an average person couldn't name any more of his songs. Whereas there's so much hype for James Arthur after winning last year and actually he's also had a million selling single. Even next week, James would probably have been a better booking than The Wanted!

Let's not forget record companies pay huge sums to get their artists on the show - Better for Syco to slot their acts in where they can rather than lose out on £££! The Wanted are flying back to the UK for a 24 hour visit to perform!

Yeah, there is that I suppose. It seems so ridiculous that the artists (or record companies) pay Syco to perform rather than the other way round!

And how many James Arthur songs would an average person be able to name?
