Me too... the right hand one of the gay couple did such a realistic impression of the doll. Scary!

I like the vicar, she's usually pretty spot on with her observations. Her comments about gay marriage this week were entirely correct imo. Plus it's unusual for someone from Nottingham to be on tv and not be either a) on rogue traders or b) pulling 'amusing' faces in the back of a news report.

The Gilbey's have gone due to George appearing on CBB as the producer has stated that the show wouldn't work with them now appearing which is true really. It's a good thing that Leon & June/the posh couple didn't appear on CBB then!
I can't say I'm surprised. I'll miss him and his parents on it though, definitely one of the better families. The older intelligent yet dull men need to be axed PRONTO. Also not huge on the vicar, the moffats and the family with silent Jay - although I do want to see him speak! Just happy if Dom & Steph, June & Leon and the gay couple are still on it, by far my favourites!

I really like Sandra & Sandy, the posh couple who ALWAYS drink, the gay hairdressers, Leon (June doesn't do anything for me, she doesn't have charisma) and the guy who doesn't say anything. I also like the Tapper family from North London.

The two chess players Bill & Josef need to go, I'm always left with a straight face whenever they say something on screen. They should bring back those Essex women who are sisters, they are quite attractive

The new series starts next Friday (26th September).

The Michael family aka

are leaving due to the father's decision to stand as an MP for UKIP so his 'political ambitions' would be deemed as a 'conflict'.

Considering the amount of UKIP coverage Googlebox gives, I'm not surprised. I'd like to see the posh couple and the students replaced next series as they both add nothing and hardly feature anyway! How do they find new families anyway, do they do auditions? When you look at the new ones compared to the old ones it seems as though they just pick them from a random draw!

thank god the michaels are gone. bloody awful! highlight exactly what is wrong with middle england currently. how can you be from greek-cypriot and pro ukip? ignorance of the highest order.

the severe-faced hull caravan pair are my favourites, hoping they will be given more prominence next series

this is one of my favourite tv shows may i add

Gogglebox returns this Friday at 9pm!

I wanted a new family :(

Last half of the episode though was hilarious especially with Leon and 'NORWICH'

Fantastic that this is back, this and Bake Off are the only shows that make me feel so happy while watching them.

So glad this was back, agreed that this is a show that is always a pick-me-up, always instantly smiling! The gay couple (will learn names one day) and Leon and June made me laugh so much.
I can't wait for tomorrow to see Gogglebox's take on EastEnders and The BRIT Awards! :D
There was a new family this week - they weren't particularly interesting.

Surprised they didn't do the BRITs aka one of the biggest talking points of the week?

I can see myself getting annoyed at the new family though. They seem posh but not in good/funny (aka Steph & Dom) way :(

I'm getting sick of Sandra.

Far too loud and doesn't really do anything except eat, scream and make random noises at the TV.

WHAT is going on with this series already? the first episode was a snooze and i'm only 15 mins into the second episode and they use sandy/sandra play-acting in the intro, before the first show feature and during the first show feature. it all comes across a bit disingenuous and false now if i'm honest. which breaks my heart as i've loved the first four seasons. it is a programme thats genius and beauty intrinsically belongs in a total lack of awareness, quick, non-premeditated wit and a feeling the cameras aren't actually there and now everyone knows what it is and what made it so good any family they have will aspire to recreate that and never be able to be themselves in the process.

RIP gogglebox.

Scarlett and Rev Kate still make the show worth watching for me. The former makes me laugh, the latter continues to be spot on.

The 3 lads seem to be the most pointless, they only seem to feature briefly every four episodes or so!
