On the contrary, I find it rather *uplifting* that Eminem has dropped from Number One.

 6. Eminem- Berzerk

:ne: 83. Showtek- Booyah (feat. We Are Loud! & Sonny Wilson).

I have heard this for a while, and I didn't know it recently entered the Top 100.

The Showtek song is still on pre-orders - seems to be doing similarly to 'Afterglow' so could well be top 10 next week!

Ugh, Passenger was on Jools Holland - playing, yes you've guessed it "Let Me Go"

a Haim or Maverick Sabre cover? :kink:

Guess it's just me who remembers this then?

 37. Skip to the Good Bit - Rizzle Kicks

 104. Gas Pedal (feat. IamSu) - Sage the Gemini

 106. Riptide - Vance Joy

Interesting to see Riptide shooting up there, although i did notice it's currently 59p. Maybe a future slightly-low-peaking-but-long-running-hit in the making?

^Let's not also forget Gary Borelow's new single is called Let Me Go! :D

I'd be so pleased to see this go top 10 but I'm holding out for a shock top 5 entry with James and Lorde top 2!!!!

I'm worried about the week after especially as I thought Fatboy Slim would be guaranteed a number 1 but now 1D are releasing that week...it's going to be a repeat of the summer when Avicii stopped them getting to number 1, I just hope Fatboy Slim can have the same luck!!

And  at Justin Bieber falling at a comical rate...

It's almost worth it to see his songs chart high and then drop like a stone!!!!

Titanium and I Knew You Were Trouble went into free-fall as promo singles too. It'll happen to any song if it's getting no airplay.

They fell down over a two or three week period, not two or three days.
What does Justin even have to keep him selling right now? No music video, no airplay, no promotion, the fanbase have already bought it, I don't know why anyone's expecting it to have held up?

Oh sorry, that's completely different then.

People hate him, so they'll do anything to ridicule him. If his songs were getting Get Lucky levels of airplay, and thus sold a million, people would find some way to turn it into a bad thing too.

And yet promo singles by other artists hold up far better than Bieber's. Not exactly WELL, but better.

That's because other artists, like David Guetta, have wider appeal if they were to release a promo single. Whereas, Justin Bieber either has fans or haters - quite a marmite artist really!

Basically that, and I doubt he's going to pick up any extra sales from casual buyers because all of the fans will go all out to buy it and help him out, but the rest either couldn't give a shit or have a passionate hate for him.

YES for Showtek and Rizzle Kicks. Both deserve to be MASSIVE hits...

This was used on Waterloo Road tonight, very glad to see it in the iTunes chart!

I'm sure a Bastille song was used too, but I might have been mistaken. :kink:
