I think she has a fighting chance of making the top 75. Fingers crossed. She went to 116 on spotify today.

Good to see her rise on spotify. Great she's on throwback thursday - just wish the OCC used/got the thursday data on time for the chart.

 

Even though sales fall apart on Christmas day, and Christmas Eve is always best for OMS, if I remember correctly, the highest streams were on Christmas Day last year?

 

Just had a look and that's true! Was #32 on spotify for Xmas eve and #27 for Xmas day streams. If she does something similar this year, that should be enough for her to stay top 100 (once sales are included and December 23rds streaming/sales too).

I was at a Christmas party yesterday for work, and this was on the playlist they were using (presumably one of the main Spotify ones?). I heard it quite a few times.

If we ever get it on 59p and on the popular Spotify playlists at the same time then top 40 isn't impossible in future years.

Capital and Heart played it a lot. But yes, very odd R1 and R2 didn't play it today.

 

It's 22 combined which isn't far off and in terms of the top version there's only 5 other Christmas classics ahead of her. It seems like today boosted the second version more really.

Technically she got 25 since you have to count also the other songs with combined sales, like Wham, The Pogues and James.. also last year the NOW version got the bigger bost reaching 66.
