Just premiered.. bit of a power ballad. Definitely one of their best singles so far

I've picked top 3 simply because it's One Direction and they have a huge fanbase. It'll probably enter at #3 behind Lorde and Fatboy Slim

I love this.

Great thumping guitar beat. Isnt released until Monday with no airplay so far but the fanbase may be big enough for it to go Top 3. Can see it hanging around for a while though.

Well Best Song Ever had no airplay and that went straight to #2. :kink:

The verses need to be shorter. Takes too long to get to the chorus.

It's actually a pretty good track. It's totally the sort of thing I'd expect from Ed Sheeran or somebody of that ilk though.

It will be anywhere in the top 5. I really can't call it. #3 is my best guess.

I hope the fact they're releasing on Monday stops them getting to number 1, and even though Avicii sold better overall it was a close call by the midweeks...

Lorde and Fatboy Slim should rightfully make up next weeks top 2 I hope!!

I usually find One Direction very ordinary & predictable, but I was surprised by this Single.

I think it is the best thing they've ever done. It deserves to be No.1, but it may Peak at No.2 or No.3.

Incidentally, 'The Story Of My Life' was the Title of the Demo version of 'The Winner Takes It All', by ABBA.

Depending on the X Factor performance which it could have a shot at number 1 I'll say top 3. All of their autumn releases have managed top 3 so I have no doubts this will do the same.

I actually think this is pretty good. It sounds genuinely emotional and not as contrived or cringworthy as their last two ballad releases. I'm gonna go with #3 as that seems to be their favorite number.
