Lets say 1D is selling 8K then Em/Ri are doing 24K a day... which means that in 2 days the gap they had would dissapear.

 

If they are selling less... lets say 5K then Em/Ri are doing 15K a day... so in 3 days the gap would dissapear.

The boybands are really suffering from their front-loaded sales! I'm not surprised with 1D, I knew they'd never have number 1 this week, because nobody even knows the song yet apart from their fans - It'll probably rise again within the next couple of weeks. The Wanted is really shocking decline - with an X-Factor and decent radio airplay and is plummeting even faster.

It's AMAZING to see The Vamps still holding up so well! :wub: I can only imagine that soon enough they'll probably end up being above 'Story of My Life'. Shame it's probably not going to get the #1 now (I still haven't heard 'The Monster' though to judge whether it should be above or not :ph34r:)

Hopefully Alan Carr will give Tinie a good last minute boost.

 

I'm really rooting for 'The Last Time' to do an 'Everything Has Changed' after XF as well. Heard it on the radio again today and I think it's now surpassed 'I Knew You Were Trouble.' as my favourite from Taylor :wub: Which wouldn't be saying much prior to this album but I've actually really liked 3 out of the 5 singles from 'Red'. The other 2 are among my least favourite songs of the last 2 years though so I've not gone totally mad :D

I have listened to Monster a few times and i like it but i dont think it is anything amazing and is nowhere near the excellent love the way you lie.

TBH nothing special about The Monster, it's a bit too predictable IMO.

 

Looks like by Midnight Saturday Tinie and Eminem will be the only top 5 new entries.

 

Shame really, as you dont often get a week with more than one top 5 new entrie that wasnt a Sunday release.

Fatboy Slim was over 7,000 sales ahead of Lorde after two days on sale (at which point he was doing a lot better on iTunes than Lorde), so it's taking time for Lorde to overcome that gap. Maybe she'll do it in time for Sunday's official chart?
