November 3, 201311 yr Good to see Kingsland Road go, their Twitter fanbase were annoying pests How the hell Tamera was in the bottom 2 simply beggars belief, talent wise she is on another level to any female that has ever been on the show, either she is 16 in Nigerian footballer years or she is the most exciting teenage talent of the last decade, performs 10 years above her true age No doubt the competition will be won by some bland but cute looking guy who will disappear after 1 song Everyone says this about Tamera, but it's as much about getting the right material and marketing as it is the voice. She has the potential to be a star, but they really need to get her to sing some more current songs. I thought they would take Nicholas just down the Jamane (sp?) route like last series, but I could actually see him being a decent little popstar if he's branded right. Luke I think is the James Arthur of last years show. Everyone wrote him off, but he's growing with each week and he's actually quite good. Don't think he'll win, but I think he's got a lot of the casual fans behind him like Rough Copy.

True but i think it will come, the themes have not really been fitting with current stuff for her to show what you said above, which i don't disagree with Movie week Love and heartbreak 80s week Disco week But she has the raw power to pull anything off imho She will nail Big Band week, rock week if they have one this year she has the power to blow the rest of them away in People i talk to at work laugh at me and say Leona Lewis was better when i say she best female but Leona had several years on Tamera
November 4, 201311 yr Any guesses/predictions for Big Band Week? Tamera to do 'Summertime'? Luke will be the surprise (again) I think! What will Hannah shout over next?

If i was to stick my neck out i would say Nicholas will win the competition He has the looks that will gain the teenage girl vote and the 'cuteness' that grannies love and will get the Scots vote (look how far Scotland took McDonald Brothers etc) and is an ok ish singer so will not be a marmite performer

I'm tempted to say that for Big Band week we'll see Nicholas doing a Michael Bublé number, but Louis has been rather good and unpredictable with his song choices this year, so I think we may be in for something completely different/unexpected.
November 4, 201311 yr I think the problem is that Tamera and Hannah probably share pretty much the same kind of fanbase once of them goes ( I'm guessing it will be Hannah) Then I think the other person will be at a huge advantage .
November 4, 201311 yr Tamera's sang 'Diamonds', 'Stay' (Rihanna), 'Beneath Your Beautiful' AND 'Listen' this series... all fairly recent to me. Yes they're all of similar tempo/not diverse enough - but you're all arguing the point she hasn't had "recent or contemporary songs" - so I don't see your points at all... The negative thing I have always said about her is she tries for songs which are bigger than her, but tonight, I think her vocal lessons are paying off and she's learnt to take control of them a lot better. But also, she needs to show more diversity. She shouldn't be doing ballads/down tempo tracks for the rest of her career! Which is why I say the potential in her is absolutely huge. Her performances have been great so far this year, but I too would like to see something of a different tempo for her. 'Ain't Nobody' showed the potential she had at doing those sort of numbers (and it felt modern!). But again I think it's down to these terrible themes atm.

To which she's sang Beneath Your Beautiful and Listen and quite rightly got a lot of plaudits. She's a modern contemporary act, I think in order for her to thrive she needs to be singing songs from the last 10 years that will appeal to her voting range. Once Hannah goes I can't see it being as much of an issue, but until then. Just like how you couldn't imagine Sam Bailey knocking out some big female power ballad from the last 5 years.
