Pixie Lott is now outselling Kylie on ITunes pre-orders this week... but think Kylie will have sold quite a few cumulative over 7 weeks....

 

Kylie is interviewed for This Morning. You can email questions by 12 midday on Friday, so I presume the interview will air in Monday's episode... hey at least it is a promo start.

I say this will be #7, seems quite a busy week next week with 4 new entries contending for the top 10.

For me, #7 is a flop already considering Kylie's always had the first single inside Top 5 bar "some kind of bliss" and "word is out".

Tbh, Pixie would've still had the same amount of pre orders so,d as Kylie as she's sold 1,000 of her physicals yesterday and out of stock as a result, Kylie must've sold around that much of vinyls and physicals too (probably more) and Kylie was still in front of Pixie for an extra two days so I wouldn't worry :)

You have to remember how much times have changed and how quickly they change now, the likes of Kylie, Britney, Christina, Madonna, J-Lo etc are all considered to be last generations popstars and it was 4 years since she last properly released anything (a lifetime in pop in this day and age).

I agree that times have changed, but Kylie has always been able to cope with that! I think this will go #5-8 and will stay around due to amazing airplay and the (hopeful) promos she has got planned :)

Well it has jumped from 350-400 up to inside the top 250 on iTunes today

 

plus I am very excited that 'sparks' is now on the 2 track digi ITunes and Amazon releases, plus the remixes digi bundles. plus physicals etc... she has a lot of versions...I am hoping people want 'sparks' so will buy the ITB 2 track digi as extra :)

 

Chrisitina Perri though and Tinie Tempah song both top 100 on iTunes even with pre-orders... Pixie around 220-230.... Kylie around 245

 

I think her promo next week should keep her ticking over..... and lets see if the Voice plays again a little longer on Saturday......

 

I am still secretly hoping she will appear on Dancing on Ice final :)

 

 

This era is all about the album at the moment... she has had it on pre-order across the world for same week release. and big chsrt positions week one. All promo geared to that.... its a good tactic really and should do very well....

 

lets see how ITB does in Ireland etc where it is released in an hour!!!

I am not seeing Sparks anyway other than on the digital 2 track on her website....

 

Oh and Smiley Kylie, I have told you before not to double post, stop doing it.

To those who preordered the CD via the Parlophone store... what is the current status for your order? Mine says "closed". :unsure:

Mine has that too, the FAQ page there doesn't work either, grr.

Hopefully it means it's on its way!

ITB has 2 entries in the Irish ITunes top 20.... album version number 14 and the single 17... not bad...(was as high as 11, I think it could sneak a top 10-15 chart as long as keeps selling)

 

Really don't know what to expect it to do in UK....

 

Switzerland it is 30 and Germany 39...

Am sure it will be an easy top ten. Pre orders, album grat, physicals. She will start off with at least 10k.

 

If they had done an on air on sale release it may have struggled.

Both versions of ITB now free falling on Ireland Itunes :S really hope it stables but it'll defiantly fare better in the UK

I really hope it can make top 10 as outside the lead single she will have no chance of another top 10. Their seems to be a big focus on pushing the album this time rather than the single.

numbers 27 and 43 in Ireland now on itunes.

Ya it will be a long week as its likely she will drop throughout the week but its released now so fingers crossed she will get another top 10 hit to her name.
