Storm Queen was always going to be big, I'd say its in the same vein as other 'chilled' dance tracks like Sonnentanz & So Good To Me (and I guess What I Might Do which has been quite a big hit as well), plus its been getting LOADS of airplay on Kiss.

I will subvert from the norm and say that I LOVE it and this followed by Martin Garrix next week will be a wonderful duo of number 1's

If we compare 1D to the other recent boyband singles, only Can We Dance has done better chart position-wise (and even then, as much as I love it, it had about 10 versions helping it get there). I think they're overestimated as a group anyway based on their fanbase, they rarely seem to do as well as people think...
Britney should be #4 shortly, unless Taylor bloody Swift does anything after that dreadfully boring performance on the X Factor.
I don't believe any genre of music ever properly "dies", but it's almost like dubstep has gone back underground again. I can't think of any mainstream success for dubstep this year, unless there's something obvious I'm missing.

Skream (from Magnetic Man) has a new song out called Rollercoaster, and it's not even dubstep, it sounds more like a disco song (brilliant song though, I hope it can chart). Katy B's recent singles haven't been dubstep either.

I love Nero (as everybody knows ). If they released a song like Must Be the Feeling as their lead single, it could probably chart well.

Yeah, no dubstep songs have done anything this year. To be honest I can't actually think of a dubstep song released this year haha.

Yeah, skream said in an interview that he was taking a break from dubstep and he said he made the disco song because it inspired him:P

I also love nero and their new album should be done soon. I dont think something like must be the feeling would do much, something like guilt or promises. I doubt they will do as well as last time as dubstep seems to have peaked in popularity around the time they released, although getting that number one was purely down to luck haha

 34. Taylor Swift - The Last Time (feat. Gary Lightbody)

Another version  #53.

Fantastic climb up the chart already, I hope it can go top 20 officially!

Taylor sang her best song ever because of him... but what was the other performance?
Little Miw were brillant tonight, they are really great live and the song grows more and more everyday. Hope they can hold on that top3. :)
Oh I completely forgot about 'The Last Time' (even though I saw it being performed). Glad to see it doing decently, I really hope it can go top 20
Things were looking so good for '5 AM', what happened? :(

Only 2 songs last night from The X Factor still in the Top 100.

82. Earth, Wind and Fire- September

83. Donna Summer and Barbara Streisand- No More Tears

It has stalled sadly. 'What Love Is Made of' pretty much did the same thing too. :(

Britney's just got a red update, so I guess she's peaked?

Check again, she's in light green now. ;)

I think it was a glitch, though? http://www.breatheheavy.com/exhale/public/style_emoticons/default/crying2.gif

I think that update maybe become and incorrect update in a few minutes (and change to ??? at the top) because if you look down the majority of the chart, all of the numbers have hardly changed at all.

Anyway,

 32. Taylor Swift - The Last Time (feat. Gary Lightbody)

 47. Taylor Swift - The Last Time (feat. Gary Lightbody)

That's around #21 or #22 combined so far based on previous Kworb popularity numbers!

Anyone's iTunes not updating properly?

Skream had an amazing song earlier this year with P Money and Scrufizzer. I forgot what it was called, but it wasn't dubstep either, and it was really dark sounding.

I'm sure there must have been dubstep songs released this year, but if you wanted to hear new dubstep tunes you'd intentionally have to go looking for them now, since you won't hear them on the radio or in a mainstream club anymore. The reason I think Must Be the Feeling could be a hit now is because it sounds more like a house song, and it's really catchy. I honestly think it's more commercial than all their top 10 hits tbh.

The closest thing to dubstep I can think of that we've had in the charts this year is Bassline Junkie (grime/bassline, but those genres are very close to dubstep).

Anyone's iTunes not updating properly?

I think mind has gone back in time a few weeks, since I have Sexy Lady by Jessie J at #48.

Kworb is a mess for me. It has Taylor stuck at #99 and Little Mix in dark red.
