November 5, 201312 yr Disco Love will probably hang around for another while, they're performing it on the launch of new series of Paul O'Grady on the 11th of November (source: their twitter). James Arthur is doing album signings almost every day so he could have pretty decent sales on Sunday. Interesting that SYCO are keeping his XFactor appearance for a second single. Like they did with Little Mix last year I suppose although Wings was released in summer. Shane should be counting his lucky stars that he's top 40 never mind top 5 lol. Little Mix - Move must be on 34,000 already. That's a great start. Love the song.
November 5, 201312 yr Most of the new entries are from Eminem in the singles and they are listed as NEW  apart from that there are only new entries from the obvious top 5. Katy B, ahead of Justin Bieber #15, with Jessie J and the Pet Shop Boys near the bottom end of the top 40. Storm Queen are on sales of 54k Eminem is 21k behind the #1 Little Mix is sandwiched between them, just ahead of Eminem by 1k So pre orders of storm queen could be significant this week then, i thoight so! If it falls quickly it could be interesting by Sunday we shall have to wait and see. Good to see Jessie J in the lower end of the top 40 hopefully the radio plays will follow this week. No doubt PSBs will fall soon enough from the top 40!! Quick pred - singles 1) Storm Queen 95k 2) Eminem 78k 3) LM 75k Edited November 5, 201312 yr by steve201
November 5, 201312 yr Author James Arthur's sales are practically 2:1, huge clump of new albums in the top 8 as Jay posted on the previous page, hardly any other new entries in the 11-40 bracket apart from Nickleback, Midlake, Bob Dyan missing the top 20 and a live album from Dream Theater top 40. Big climbs for David Bowie top 15, combining the deluxe version and Taylor Swift performance on the X Factor sees her album top 20, and Elton John's album has had a second lease of life towards the end of the 40.
November 5, 201312 yr Shane #4, how? I'm really gutted that Avril is #8, it's annoying since it's #4 on iTunes, but obviously there's problems with getting the CD in stores. We're you expecting him to be lower? I thought anything but a top3 would be a disaster. Saying that, lots of releases this week.
November 5, 201312 yr James Arthur tweeted this about 2 hours ago: Wow we are thousands ahead of the pack in the midweek charts!!!! Keep buying the record guys this is amazing!! X 1D were top of midweeks last week........Eminem still overtook despite releasing later. Looks like it will be close. Would be very surprised if it was close. We can assume that Tinie is some way back at #3 then. Shame that this era hasn't really gone brilliantly for him so far but the reviews have been decent and there's time for other singles to smash yet. Classic 2nd album slump really, he had a lot to live up to after his first era. He's not done horribly. Nope, I wouldn't be surprised if he did 60k today to be honest. I can see him ending the week with 130k+ despite missing a day of sales, especially with all the hype around him. He has 3 songs in the top 10 of iTunes at the moment, with another just outside. He'll most likely have 4 songs in the top 20 this Sunday. I don't believe I've seen that happen before, except maybe with Michael Jackson's death. I believe the only previous instance of this in this decade was Lady Gaga the week before 'Born This Way' came out: 6 The Edge Of Glory 8 Judas 13 Hair 16 Born This Way I'm going to predict this for the album/single top 5's: Albums: 5 - The Overtones (don't underestimate the Grannies!!) André Rieu is a bigger force in the 'grannies' category :P Actually wouldn't be overly surprised if he ends up beating Tinie to #3 (really hope not though).
November 5, 201312 yr Have all 4 of Eminem's versions been counted from Sunday + Monday then? I thought they'd only have been eligible from today...
November 5, 201312 yr Good to see Jessie J in the lower end of the top 40 hopefully the radio plays will follow this week. No doubt PSBs will fall soon enough from the top 40!! Assuming it's "Sexy Lady" again though, rather than the third single ("Thunder"); so doubt radio will be picking it up just yet.
November 5, 201312 yr I'm assuming Storm Queen's 21k lead will be significantly reduced tomorrow when pre-orders are taken out of the equation? That is quite an impressive lead for now though, I don't expect it will hold on, but hopefully it won't do too badly sales-wise overall. Edited November 5, 201312 yr by Chez Wombat
November 5, 201312 yr Why is 'Sexy Lady' top 40, anyway? It was performed on Surprise Surprise. That show has done nothing good for the charts ever.
November 5, 201312 yr I personally love Jessie J is struggling with this new album and releases. Such an overrated and annoying artist.
November 5, 201312 yr WB is #4 on UK mid chart shoshanna stone @shoshannastone 59m Check out @britneyspears at number 4 on the midweek chart #workbitch :))
November 5, 201312 yr I think there'll be all new top 5 on albums chart, Katy and Blunt should stay in top 6-7 territory. And MIA not top 40, that's a huge flop for her given the low sales in general. Edited November 5, 201312 yr by SKOB
November 5, 201312 yr Indeed, i LOVE NOVEMBER!!!! I don't, worst month of the year as far as im concerned. Roll on December and Christmas!
November 5, 201312 yr Random but do Tescos sell the Eminem album. They can be a funny bunch sometimes! Ours hasn't got it in yet so I bought it in Sainsbury's, £9.99, same price as on Amazon. BTW, Eminem WAS out yesterday too as I bought it yesterday evening, just before 7pm. Was listed as In Stock on Amazon yesterday too. It's 5th that it's out in the US, which seems to be confusing people!! Edited November 5, 201312 yr by Common Sense
November 5, 201312 yr Author Have all 4 of Eminem's versions been counted from Sunday + Monday then? I thought they'd only have been eligible from today... I'm hoping for some explanation from MW or OCC, as from where I'm sitting those 3 tracks have had sales from Sun to Mon otherwise its a case for Bre to investigate. :(
November 5, 201312 yr I don't, worst month of the year as far as im concerned. Roll on December and Christmas! Me too and the other most hated month by me is January :( Sorry Off topic :teresa:

If you got one in a shop then you got it a day early because 5 Nov was its UK release date as well :P
