We can assume that Tinie is some way back at #3 then. Shame that this era hasn't really gone brilliantly for him so far but the reviews have been decent and there's time for other singles to smash yet.

I really think Avril will go top 10 in the album charts. She's at #7 on iTunes, but once you take out duplicate versions + compilation albums, she's #4. :o
I suspect even *one* day's sales of Eminem will be enought to blast JA from #1!

Agreed! Am I the only one who thinks Eminem will sell 40k+ in one day?

Nope, I wouldn't be surprised if he did 60k today to be honest. I can see him ending the week with 130k+ despite missing a day of sales, especially with all the hype around him. He has 3 songs in the top 10 of iTunes at the moment, with another just outside. He'll most likely have 4 songs in the top 20 this Sunday. I don't believe I've seen that happen before, except maybe with Michael Jackson's death.

I'm going to predict this for the album/single top 5's:

Albums:

5 - The Overtones (don't underestimate the Grannies!!)

4 - Katy Perry

3 - Tinie Tempah (48k)

2 - James Arthur (65k)

1 - Eminem (125k - don't think this will do more then Daft Punk but the demand could prove me wrong)

I think Avril and The Wanted will start off high but sales will drop quickly so most I expect for these is low top 10, maybe top 15 for Avril

Singles:

5 - Britney Spears (again, wishful thinking as I reckon 1D may hold onto top 5 but she will be top 8 by Sunday)

4 - Lorde

3 - Little Mix

2 - Storm Queen (will probably be number one on the midweeks but won't stop Eminem)

1 - Eminem/Rihanna (I predict he will getting number ones on both charts!)

I really can't see her going top 10, although I hope she manages it.

I hope she does in the low sales climate we're currently in, she should just get in plus she's currently doing well on itunes and will have strong physical sales too.

But with Avril's album, there's none in my local Tescos, and others have complained about there being none in Asda as well! I can't believe they haven't had any! I don't understand what's going on? This is seriously gonna affect her sales now!

She's #9 on Amazon MP3 but only #30 on the CD chart. #34 on Sainbury's CD chart & #36 on their MP3 chart.

I hope physicals are better in the retailers and that her sales on iTunes will make up for her weaker physical sales on other sites. I don't think she has any promotion for this week either.

Well Avril is going to be lucky to get top 15 on Sunday, let alone top 10. :snif: Unless it can keep climbing/holds on on iTunes.

The Wanted's album is doing better than I expected. We'll get an all new top 5 on Sunday won't we?

This weeks album chart top 10 is gonna have some bumper sales compared to what we've been used to in the 2nd half of 2013, Arcade Fire could well fall 1-10 and still sell 10-15k!

Maybe even an all new Top 7? The following artists could make it:

Andre Rieu / Eminem / James Arthur / The Overtones / Shane Filan / Tinie Tempah / The Wanted

4 - Shane

6 - The Wanted

8 - Avril

It seems like The Wanted have their digital sales missing though.

Shane #4, how? I'm really gutted that Avril is #8, it's annoying since it's #4 on iTunes, but obviously there's problems with getting the CD in stores.

Most of the new entries are from Eminem in the singles and they are listed as NEW  apart from that there are only new entries from the obvious top 5. Katy B, ahead of Justin Bieber #15, with Jessie J and the Pet Shop Boys near the bottom end of the top 40.

Storm Queen are on sales of 54k Eminem is 21k behind the #1 Little Mix is sandwiched between them, just ahead of Eminem by 1k

I hope The Sats - Disco Love is hanging into on to the top 40 for one last week!
