Yeah I would be really surprised to see this be a hit. Terrible single choice.

It did very well on cherrypicks during album release week but I do not know if that will mean much in the end. Are there any more hit-worthy songs on the album, though?

There are still 3 or 4 big hits on the album I'd say, I don't think this will be. I love the song but it is a baffling single choice.

I think Maybe You're Right and #GETITRIGHT could work as singles.

Maybe You're Right would definitely be another Top 5 hit for her I think. Drive would work well too.

Drive would be a great 5th single and for the 4th one they should choose Hands in the Air. Very underrated and very uplifting (which is good after ballads like Adore You AND Wrecking Ball).

"4x4" is rumoured to be the 4th single. Follow that with either "Drive" or "#getitright" and that amounts to one seriously flawless singles campaign.

 

The hate for this song is stupid. It's gorgeous.

I expected it to do more on iTunes, currently #60 and the video so far has 3million views. It would be lucky to get to 8 million views in 24 hours, streaming alone should help her towards top 20 this week though.

I like the video, it fits the theme her other ones have set :lol: lovely song too. I think the lyrics are kinda sweet.

I expected ' Adore You ' to easily go top 30 in the United States with the video impact alone! I remember ' Wrecking Ball ' climbed from #28 to #01 following the video. I'm sure ' Adore You ' will manage to be a top 20 hit this week through streaming alone though!

Watched the video for this earlier and it's really beautiful and it appears she's gotten the message over quite well. Just not loving the song as much any more... It's a bit boring, but hopefully with more listens it'll grow. :(

I'm inclined to agree, I don't think it's going to do anything major. It was obviously chosen as a single through its strong cherry picking but releasing a ballad following a ballad is not the best choice.

 

It's managed to pass 22.7m views in 3 days. It should manage to get a top 20 placing in the billboard next week. Maybe top 15 at a push! #33 on iTunes.

I really love this song, but it really doesn't strike me as being a single. It's the perfect album opener though and as a song it's one of those strong album tracks. I really can't imagine this being played on the radio/tv etc.. but I'm excited to see what effect it does have. I think the best that we can hope for is for it to do an 'Unconditionally'.
