I deleted mine. Any further enjoyment of their music has been tainted for me. It's sick that its had the opposite affect on some people, and they've decided to start buying their music. I feel sorry for the rest of the band.

Wonder if Gary can climb to #2 officially this week...
Didn't expect Let Me Go to be anything more than a one week wonder, boosted by X Factor before dropping 3-10-25 or whatever, so to see it almost certain to stay in the top three for a second week is very impressive!

 33. Jessie J "Thunder"

 37. Kanye West "Bound 2"

 46. Rihanna "What Now"

Hoping these can all reach the T40 officially this week. The revival of "Bound 2" after the video is great to see actually, wondering how single #3 will fare though.

9. Lady GaGa ft R Kelly- Do What U Want

Guessing this has got a boost thanks to it being used on Hollyoaks with a scene between Frankie and Ziggy. Also this was performed in the AMA's.

I'd say more due to increasing airplay, Hollyoaks only gets about 8 viewers these days

Wow really glad What Now is looking like it will be a top 40 hit. PRAYING she gets an X Factor slot now cos she could easily go Top 20 if she performed in the final.

That's sick. What is wrong with people? I was actually thinking of deleting my Lostprophets songs (decided against it for now though as no matter how sick Ian Watkins is, they did do some good songs back in the day).

Maybe they're doing it in support of the other band members who will need the money now.

I don't know what is so shocking tbh, Lostprophets weren't exactly a household name before all this happened. People will have seen the band name, been curious as to what music they've released before, had a listen, and liked it. A lot of their old stuff is actually really good, I used to be a fan back in the day.

By downloading their music, they are not giving any money to Ian Watkins, his association with that band will never be re-instated. The other band members will get the royalties, and may even donate them to a child protection charity or something.

Basically, people aren't downloading their music in support of Mr Watkins himself!

Glad that 'Do What U Want' is finally shooting up! :cheer: Maybe it has a chance of top 3 before Christmas with the video release still to come/lack of new releases!

I get that - but what he has just admitted to is probably one of the most disgusting and sickening crimes I've heard about in a long while. And for people to start buying music that he's the lead singer on, in light of hearing the news is a little shocking to me, personally.

Good to see the ID tracks slipping. things look good for celine dion to still be top 75 officially on sunday. would be nice for her to have 5 weeks top 75 too

Well the album came out this week and it's now on an advert (might have just been a one-off showing but it was during XF anyway if so, so it gave it a fairly big boost) so it would be doing quite badly to take a heavy 2nd week fall. Remains to be seen if it'll hold up further beyond that. I could actually see it sticking around for a while, it seems very radio friendly.

I actually checked to see if any Lostprophets songs had re-entered the other day and there were none top 1,500 - obviously checked a bit too soon after the news broke. There was a small boost for a few of their songs when the allegations first came out as well. Very strange. Luckily I never downloaded any of their material but if I had I would definitely be purging it. I liked a lot of their songs but I can't listen to them any more.

McFly could have a last minute boost - version of LIOTR has been added with Tom's wife and they've uploaded a video of them singing it together. Remembering how many hits the wedding speech and baby new videos got it could do well.

Not exactly 'last minute', we're only halfway through the week :P

I may be mistaken but wasn't the 'Hopeful Live Mix' already a version with Tom's wife?

Haha, but it'll need at least tomorrow to spread around like those videos do...

The Hopeful Live Mix was with his sister Carrie Hope Fletcher. She's a youtube star herself and currently staring as Eponine in Les Mis in London.
