Almost all voters are young and female, many of them have insecurities and think they are ugly and lack confidence and just dont take to a supremely confident girl with stunning looks and incredible talent

 

Tamera will make it without X Factor and be a global star

It came down to the judges and they couldn't decide. And then when it went back to the public they obviously saved the most talented person and the one who is READY. Tamera needs to take some time out and work on where she's actually going. Forgetting her lyrics and generally being given some rubbish performances is hardly going to help her gain votes with a young female voting demographic whose attention span will only last so long after SO many mistakes (and of course when they see somebody as beautiful as Luke standing next to her).

Girls just don't vote for fellow girls, they vote for who they think is the best looking guy

 

So long as that happens then true talent can forget about winning X Factor

But look at past winners of the series, Leon Jackson, Joe McElderry and a few others they didn't get anywhere, than look at Olly Murs, Rebecca Ferguson they are still having hits, and these are the acts that never won, so in a good way Tamera could still have a successful career, you do not need to win this comp to get a record contract. I wouldn't say that's the reason. Tamera messed up 2 weeks in a row on the live shows and has had a lot of bad press written about her unfortunately. Also, out of all the contestants, she was the most inconsistent with her performances. Not to mention a lot of her song choices weren't suited to her.

 

Alexandra Burke won the competition and she was a confident girl with stunning looks and incredible talent. She was very consistent, delivering great performance after great peformance.

While a quantity of votes for attractive male contestants will come from the aforementioned group of voters, it doesn't account for all of them. Luke will appeal to mums and maybe even an older age demographic (who I imagine will be voting based on talent). As with those mentioned groups, Tamera probably won't be picking up their votes because they don't believe she is as talented as Luke. I doubt many people will base their votes on "oh my god I'm jealous of her, I'm insecure as a person and I'm ugly so FU[/iCK HER, not voting for her". Young females who dedicate their votes to attractive males aren't going to be interested in girls like Tamera; it's probably not who they're watching for or who they're interested in - nothing to do with jealousy at all.

 

I wouldn't lose any sleep over it at all if I were you though, once she's had time to drill it into her head what type of artist she wants to be outside of the wannabe Beyoncé and Leona Lewis range and writes some lyrics that are easy enough to remember, she'll have a great career ahead of her!

Little Mix won because there was so much public sympathy over one of the girls being bullied online over her weight, that really struck a chord with the public particular again teenage girls (the majority seem to have insecurities about weight/looks) so they were in the right place at the right time

Valid points but who on earth are voting for Rough Copy, they are so awful, probably the single worst group in X Factor history yet got more votes than Luke and Tamera

 

I can only guess they are picking up the joke votes like Christopher did last year and Wagner and Johnny etc

Because of the media reports of her being 'demanding' and the shoplifting thing she has had to deal with external pressures and public scrutiny in the way none of the other contestants have, it is natural at 16 for pressure to build up and affect someone, this time last year she was studying for her GCSE's

You have to have a tough and ruthless streak to succeed in the industry, i dont think being 'vile' is a negative trait, she just has supreme self belief and single minded determination

 

If Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Rihanna entered X Factor pre fame i doubt any of them would have won or come close to winning as all those lot share the same 'i am the best f*** everyone else' mentality, this would put off the voting public sadly

Which is why we have had year after year of safe bet cuddly bland winners who wouldn't say boo to a goose ( James Arthur excepted)
