I have gotten bored of sticking to just 3 men in gif form, sue me.
3rd single from TTAL featuring sex God Nate Ruess from band fun. I was not expecting this to be as massive as it was, safe to say it's one of, if not the biggest single of her
career. The song is just perfect, a really touching mid-tempo eargasm. Video is also orgasmic, and features P!nk's hubby. Aweseome.
Hopefully this wins the Grammy's it was nominated for.

I love 'Just Give Me a Reason'! :wub: The first 3 singles from The Truth About Love were perfect, if only the remaining singles had gone 'Slut Like You'/'How Come You're Not Here' and 'Beam Me Up', THAT would have been fab. I did eventually tire of 'Just Give Me a Reason' due to overplay but it's as beautiful as ever nowadays!

Sara Evans is great! I'm glad she's back. I heard Suds In The Bucket last week for the first time in years, still sounds soooooo good I can't even comprehend. Slow Me Down < A Little Bit Stronger though (but I've only listened to it once).

PENUS! Lady manages to make another appearence in my EOY, this time with the promo single Venus.
I am not being OTT when I say this is one of the best songs she has ever recorded. It is head and shoulders above the WHOLE of The Fame/Monster
and most of BTW. Such an off the wall song, the kind of thing I want and need from Gaga. Typical generic (but good) songs like DWUW and Applause cannot compare.
The song reminds me of Aphrodite by Kylie, apt since Venus is the Roman version of Aphrodite. I think.

Second single by Adam Pitts and his co-members that went to #1 for me. In terms of their other singles, it's their third best. The B.o.B addition is a bit random and not really
that good, the solo version is so much better, as is the case with so many rent a rapper songs. The video allows us all to stare at Andy Brown's incredible arms and his lovely
hair. Maybe a little lower in my EOY than people thought it might be, but as I said...B.o.B lets it down a bit.

QUEEN TARJA.

We all know that she is the Queen of 2013 and Colours In The Dark is the best album of the year.

This song was performed on her last major tour and it was awesome, the final version is heavier and even awesomer.

The song was only a promo single but it is heads above the actual singles, neither of which appear here sadly. There is more Tarja to come in this countdown though.

11 | Stereophonics – Indian Summer [3-4-4-6-6-5-5-5-2-2-4-7-9-12-14-17-19-23-27-32-34-37-38-xx] 23 Weeks

Just missing out on my Top 10 is the first proper single from the Phonics' latest album. It went on to be a rather decent-ish hit, for them anyway, lasted a few weeks
top 40. Which was nice. This is probably my favourite single by them, softer in sound to their usual music but I think it works well with Kelly's voice.
This lasted a long time in my chart and was one of my longets runners when it eventually left. Will they match it? With a new album apparantly out next year, maybe.

Venus is one of those songs that is so bad that it is good.

First song in my Top 10 is the most recent non-Christmassy song by Country/Folk/Dance/Pop/Rock singer Jewel. Released to help promote her Greatest Hits, this
is a typical Jewel song, different to her last studio album though, which was a charming Country affair. This is more electro pop. Managed a week at the top for me, I have grown
to adore this lady over the past year, she has a stunning voice and a real skill at making stories out of her songs. Simple but effective video, adds to the mellowness of the song.
