Older than fire but twice as hot.
Cher flopped with the ICONIC Woman's World, but she managed a top 40 hit with I Hope You Find It, a cover of a Miley Cyrus song, yeah, ikr?
Goes to show that 80's Rock Cher AKA the best Cher, is still alive and well and she was not gobbled up by DANCE Cher. What can I say about this song,
it's a typical Cher power ballad even though it's not her song, but you wouldn't be able to tell, Cher pours dat emotion into this song and makes it alot more believable
than Miley, although her version also is lovely.

2 gifs cause it's my burfdee and cause Jeremy Renner deserves more than one gif. And he is all sweaty and grimy and in his undies. DILF.
Dido appears for the first time in my singles top 40 with the first single from her latest album, which was my #3 in my album list.
It took a week or two to grow on me, but when it did, it grew loads. Typical Dido song, simple melody and production with touching and deep lyrics, all perfectly
delivered by Dido and her stunning voice. Spent an age at #2 because getting to the top, where it only lasted a week. But it ended up being a rather long lasting hit
in my chart. Will second single End Of Night appear? Wait and see.

'No Freedom' is sensational :wub: The whole album is such a good comeback for her!

 

oh and I c Cher up the top there <3 QUEEN. 'I Hope You Find It' is so so good.

LA DION slayed everyone and ended the careers of all the lesser beings this year when she released her first new English single since 2008. It was and still is
one of the best things she has ever done. Typical DION vocals and subject but with a modern twsit, thanks in part to Sia, that GODDESS.
Looked set to settle with a #2 peak until LA DION came and slayed all on X-factor. Seriously, she owned that stage. Amaze.
Might be a bit low in the countdown, but the songs above all had more time to give me eargasms. Well, most of them, hint hint.

STUNNING. *.* LA DION = QUEEN. Such a good song :wub: (even if I do slightly prefer 'Incredible' :kink:)

Well, she didn't make it top 5 in my countdown and didn't make it to the top in my chart, but this song has proved to be quite the long lasting smash.
Promo single from the upcoming 12th album which will be out next year and it's a newish direction for Kylie, certainly different to Aphrodite, and the return of proper
SLUTlie, which we are all gald of. Such a slick song, amazingly produced. The GTA remix is a MUST too. Totally off the wall and superb.

THE Dido song that everyone needs to own. One of my longest runners of the year and the second longest stay at #1 for a female. G'WON Dido.
Second single from Girl Who Got Away and a much more dance orientated song than No Freedom and a slightly better representation of the album as a whole IMO
so I would have liked to see it as the first single, I think it could have done an Indian Summer and got a top 40 placing.
SUCH a brilliant song, Dido's voice fits in so nicely with the backing music and it is a pure joy to listen to.

OMG only 4 songs left! Anyone wanna take a stab and guesss what they might be? Or am I all alone here?

LA DION, Cher and Jewel are the sole purveyors of good taste here...* :( With Lawson surely coming up twice I doubt that will change :(

MA BABES. Adam Pitts and his backing band are back once again, this time with most recent single, Juliet. I was instantly hooked on this one, so friggin' catchy and
something a bit different to their previous singles. As with LTLA and Brokenhearted, this went to #1 and spent ages there. 5 weeks in this case and has yet to leave my top 10.
The video features big titted hoebag Kelly Brook and she gets her grubby mitts on my Adam and she scares the poor soul. Bitch shoulda known better than to meddle with my man.
Anyway, this is in my top 5 Lawson songs, the chorus is just so damn catchy and it sounds amazing when blasted in the car.

Cher, Dido, Kylie, LA DION. *.* And then Lawson. True they are the most consistently good boy band but they should never be higher than those 4 queens.

'Juliet' :wub: Such a good tune. 'Brokenhearted' still in the running?! Expecting a runaway #1 here unless there's something I'm missing, hmmm...

The QUEEN. The SLAYAGE. The MUSTARD LIPSTICK.
Another J-Pit single and another never ending chart run for me. YES, it is trashy and generic, but it's AMAZING. The "let's fook tonight" is iconic, the dance breakdown
is iconic, the kiss noises are iconic. The "i hit the spotlight all night" hook makes me moist. This was the song of my summer. I for one think J-Lo and Pitbull make amazing
music together and I hope for more tbh, they rock. Dance Again remains their best. The video for this is awesome, Pibull as ever wears tight trousers and looks sexy as fook
and Jennifer kills and skins a giant Elmo for once of her outfits aswell as making mustard coloured lipstick look amazing. AMAZING.
