I can't wait to see how Brazil reacts to this. Hope they lose their third place playoff :kink:

Beautiful.

Best thing about that biggest defeat is that it was at home and shatter their unbeaten home record.

It's a big test for Scolari in what could be his last game as a manager. Can he motivate his team to give the supporters something to shout about or will they be too demoralised after tonight?

And Abdul Fareek said that Brazil are going to win... epic fail prediction

I was wrong, I hold my hands up!

Surely Germany have got to win this now, they cant play like that only to lose in the final. This victory will COUNT FOR NOTHING if they don't win on Sunday!

France must be feeling quite pleased with themselves.

The funny thing is that if it were anyone else who'd just won 7-1 in a World Cup SF we'd all be saying "don't worry, Germany will beat them in the final". I'd laugh heartily if they lost now.

Feel desperately sorry for the whole of Brazil. David Luiz seemed to think he was supposed to be the Neymar replacement.

The Netherlands have a team too tho

Apparantly a German fan has been murdered in a Brazilian mall after the game... like what, people that this waay too serious

It was the most disappointing soccer game that I've ever watched in my life!! I feel sorry for them but I would feel sick if I was a Brazilian. I thought that Brazil would beat Germany based on their previous results. Shame! The German team was great and they gave us an upredictable result. Congrats to them!

Where's everyone saying Brazil would fly through now? They were never going to get past Germany without Neymar.

Was confident Germany would fly through. Without Neymar, they're incredibly average, and even when Germany scored the first goal, you look at the Brazil team and you wonder where the goals would come from. At least with Brazil/Argentina are playing awful, you know that Neymar/Messi can always produce one piece of magic to score a goal. For what it's worth, I don't think the Germans are all that, and I fancy the winner of the other semi-final to give them a real game, but Germany really showed Brazil up for the truly average team that they are tonight. Feel sorry for them slightly because I do deeply have a massive soft spot for Brazil, but so many good players left out of the squad by Scolari over shite ones.

lmao what a pathetic defeat for Brazil! Planned to watch the rest of the matches starting with this one but got sick so can't stay up until 2am~ I wish I watched it live though damn it :(

Can Netherlands do Argentina in a similar fashion now (or vice versa idk) and have one EPIC showdown against Germany on the 13th?!

Hope, that Germany 2014 is not Hungary 1954.

Hungary won 8:3 in the group stages vs Germany but lost the Final match to the same team. I don't see any parallels to this year at all.

(Although Ghana can feel quite PROUD having drawn with Germany in the group matches <3 )

Was busy with a meeting last night and thought just before bed, 'Oh, was there a semi on tonight?'

Couldn't believe the result when I saw it. I expected Germany to win...but not by that kind of margin. Wow.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Brazil probably needed to keep it at 0-0 for the first half at least to stand a chance, and far worse teams have kept a clean sheet and then scored one. Those ten minutes between the second and fifth goals will have been like an out of body experience.
