Lily had to get there eventually its been a slow ride to the top, but I tend to do that sometimes with certain tracks as they tend wear off a bit and I start loving them again. Its probably why Hard Out Here is struggling as SOWK is getting top billing over it.

Oostende is probably my favourite BJSC entry of the year, shame the track didn't finish inside the top 10 in the end, its just beautiful.

Thunder from Jessie is a step up from her previous entry, so much better.

Strong is probably my favourite track from the album Wasting My Young Years is also good, can't really separate the 2 tracks. The album has reasonably well in the album chart it did stick around for a fair bit.

 

And probably Avcii for #1 next week, the single chart is a bit of a dire straits at the moment, before the X Factors winners track. Sam Bailey here we come ^_^

I have to agree with you Mart!n, I am not crazy about The Killers X-mas song this year. Their weakest to date, HBG is my favourite too.

I have to agree with you Mart!n, I am not crazy about The Killers X-mas song this year. Their weakest to date, HBG is my favourite too.

Nice to that Sail is getting UK sales & airplay. I can't believe I charted the song way back in 2010!

Nice #1, I much prefer Keane's original but Lily's cover is alright (still), I do like "Hard Out Here" though and it is great to see that in the Top 5.

I must admit a lot of great Indie tracks around, but they don't make the official top 40 these days, I'm glad London Grammar and CHVRCHES got the odd minor hit this year.

Disclosure have had a good year, maybe they could be in with a chance of a BRIT award early next year, their album is pretty good, I love the track with Jesse Ware, shame it wasn't released as a single
