Bit of a boring chart next week, there isn't any new releases, any of the top 6 could get a #1 next week,

Surely that makes it an intersting week, not a boring one?

what a rubbish week for new releases, there is bugger all out!

Tell me about it, in fact I can't see anything i would want to buy on the release schedule for the rest of the month

Shame London Grammar and Chloe Howl will be lucky to go top 75, a very disappointing week

It depends how you look at it :P with the same xmas tracks peaking year on year. :(

How are these combined charts worked out? I find it hard to believe Lily Allen is still no.2, the second version of SOWN is right down there at the bottom of the chart. I wouldn't have thought that would be enough to see her move from no.5 - no.2.

Ew. That version of 'Nightcall' is terrible. They've taken everything that was good about the original out of it. LG are definitely one of the most overrated new acts of this year for me.

I actually think the remix is better but I agree that they are completely overrated.

But she's number 2 when not combined...

47. Charli XCX - SuperLove

112. Paramilitary Wives - Last December

153. Chloe Howl - Paper Heart

196. Susan Boyle - O Come, All Ye Faithful (with Elvis Presley)

420. Catfish and the Bottlemen - Pacifier

433. London Grammar - Nightcall (Freemasons' Pegasus Club Mix)

486. London Grammar - Nightcall (Radio Edit)

not bad for Charli so far. Looks like Nightcall could easily get a top 75 place also

SuBo for #1 *.*

I'd actually like Avicii at #1 though, but it's looking like 1D vs Lily Allen again. Such a boring week this is going to be :drama:

Lily back over 0.99 again combined. Unless Avicii can make up that last bit of the gap it is looking like it'll just be another very close race between Lily and 1D - and Lily doesn't have first week physical sales on her side this time. Whoever wins, it's almost certainly gonna be an annual low for #1 sales even if this week isn't (as Lily might possibly beat the 51,450 Bingo Players sold for their 2nd week at #1).

99. Let It Go - Idina Menzel

100. Let It Go - Demi Lovato

Can I make an early warning to Ryan to not keep posting 'Demi  2 places :cheer:' over and over like you did in the US iTunes thread :P Obviously nothing wrong with posting updates but slightly more substance than that please ~

(Oh and GWON SuBo. I assume she has physicals this week? Hope she can at least make the top 40 genuinely).

Since sales at the top end are so weak I wonder if Leona performs One More Sleep she could challenge for no1 if it goes down well? Most other performances this yr on XF have been of songs that have been in the chart a fair while and so have had little effect?!

Leona Lewis "One More Sleep" to #26.

Its radio play is starting to rise quicker now. Cannot wait to see how her performance on the X-factor will impact the song. :)

Her and Kelly's songs are still rising Underneath the tree is at 50 now though OMS is rising because he 2nd version is deleted I think?!

Kelly also had a single version, but looks like it's been deleted now too. Plus, both songs are A-listed by BBC Radio 2 and being spun by Heart, which is helping. :)

Has do what u want gotten any higher since chatty man??

Also unconditionally doesnt seem to be doing too good for katy. Anyone know how mcuh her album has sold?

I know you're only tracking the new releases but when discussing 'Nightcall' it's a bit dumb to leave out half the versions, new releases or not:

115. London Grammar - Nightcall

328. London Grammar - Nightcall (Freemasons' Pegasus Club Mix)

351. London Grammar - Nightcall

588. London Grammar - Nightcall (Radio Edit)

43. Charli XCX - SuperLove

Think this will scrape top 40, yay.

Yes it climbed 10-8 and gained 13% on the number 1, but it has since dropped back a little.

Katy's album was on 131k last week.

I agree with this - a 34-1 jump for Leona on next week's Top 40 would be amazing :)

I'd wet myself if that happened! :w00t:
