My insider was wrong.

Hopefully that'll help out the album though! "One More Sleep" doesn't need any TV performances now that its airplay/TV play are so good!

Looks like that Big Reunion single could do well next week, I wouldn't be surprised to see it go top 5...which is more than it deserves, the production is awful and sounds like it was recorded in a tin can!!
Cheers, I thought so! It's quite extraordinary that a song with an original underwhelming chart run could become so successful on downloads and is probably presumed to have been a #1 by many.

How well-know/liked was it back in 2004?

It was more popular and well-known at the time than it's chart run would indicate, but it's really only been in the years since that it's become as ubiquitous as it has. I seem to remember it was originally pretty much overshadowed by 'Somebody Told Me' and arguably even 'All These These Things That I've Done' of their singles from their first album.

It's a bit silly not to sing the song you've managed to get up so high on iTunes.

I can see it happening too, it's awful but funny.

Just imagine how huge it would have been in 2003 though?

One can say you don't need to promote it anymore when it's #1. Plus she's promoting a Christmas album, not a regular one, so she needs to show off the other tracks as well.
