1329. The Saturdays - What About Us

Just performed on Strictly. Will be interesting to see the effect since Strictly's viewing audience not usually made up of their target audience!

It didn't really have an effect of JLS' "Billion Lights". Strictly performances cater more to getting album sales rather than single sales I think.

The past month is the lamest and boring charts EVER.

With regards to the charts being slow, I think February-April time usually seems really slow and empty, although it wasn't too bad this year. Also late 2011 (around the time when Earthquake, Read All About It, etc. were out) seemed extremely slow-moving and uneventful (especially in comparison to the chaos around that time from the year before).

Is that SOWK being performed on XF?

Yay! Hopefully Lily can keep the #1 this week. Luke Friend is singing it on X Factor which could give it a boost!

yes, Lily for #1 next week than.

Which is probably why they chose to perform 'What About Us' then. Their album needs all the help it can get! If they do release another studio album, it would be wise to do it outside of Q4.

Yes Leona! :D 'One More Sleep' for top 10 and 'Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)' for top 200 official positions this week please!

Well The Sats have actually jumped  to 400, so far.

- I can actually see Leona going top 5 with this.

It would be great if Leona Lewis could make the Top 10, I love the song but for an original Christmas song from recent years to be successful would be great! The most successful ones from recent years that I can think of is Coldplay's and Justin Bieber's.
