Does anybody know what percentage of overall single sales the Android Play store has?

 

I presume its some way behind Itunes, but there does seem to be an awful lot of Android phones around.

I would guess somewhere in the general region of 0%.

It can't be 0%, as overall play store sales are due to overtake Apple store early 2014, but includes game and video as well as music.

Single almost certain to finish week @ #3 (unless it dramatically tails off or increases on iTunes).

 

Album won't remain top 10 - it just ain't selling physically (25% digitals against 2-4% for the top 5).

I think the album might have a shoot at top 10 with This Morning tomorrow. Hopefully the weekend will really benefit Leona, with tons of Xmas parties going on. :D

Apparantley, Leona is only a few hundred copies behind #2 in the midweeks! Perhaps she can snatch the #2 from Avicii afterall! (small gap between them on iTunes/low sales and she is beating him on Amazon/Google play). Going to be very interesting. :D

Sorry to disappoint but the gap is a bit more than 'a few hundred copies' and Avicii is outselling her by quite a considerable amount so unless she can somehow get ahead on iTunes I don't think she has a hope in hell of overtaking him. She should finish the week at #3 which is a very respectable outcome for her, her highest charting single since 'Happy'.

Do you have any evidence for that (or can't tell me?)? Also, you are forgetting other retailers can make a big impact on low sales weeks.

I don't think Leona is going to get higher than #3 this week, which is still an amazing result! Also her first #3 peaking song I think!

Ah ok. I just got a bit excited when someone told me she was behind by a few hundred copies. She should definitely be safe for #3 now though. She hasn't had a #3 hit, so would be nice to add to her collection from a stats point of view. ^_^

No, Lily is #1, but Avicii outsold Leona by quite a large margin yesterday (he also outsold Lily yesterday).

No, he's #2, so Leona won't pass him, as his lead is too big now. :)
