There's a rumor going aruond that Luke Friend will be performing someone very high in the charts this week (won't say who, just in case people don't want to be spoiled) and if this is true and they perform the song that performer has in the charts that could boost it's sales for end of this week and certainly the Christmas chart week, remains to be seen though

1D have something small called the XF final on sunday but thatll be next weeks chart that itll affect ;P

That's the Xmas #1 album settled! :P

I agree 28k for both - I'd say the top 2 would be lucky to break 90k and last weeks Saturday effect wasn't as great as I thought it'd be.

Robbie should be no1 this weekend I'd say. There's a Susan Boyle documentary this Thursday at 9 which could help her too!! Also a boyzone documentary fri at 9.

Then other than XF which has Tom Odell(an unknown to the XF audience which could propel him to another level), The Killers, Katy Perry & 1D!

Also Leona on Wossy & Buble on Alan Carr(he knows when to promo in the uk lol)!

Ahhhh so glad Leona is top 10 on the album chart, wonder if she can push to #5 come Sunday! Maybe the few more hundred sales Saturday night (in the space of an hour after Jonathan Ross, if that!) can push her to top 5. This Morning on the Friday will help too. :) I hardly count daybreak as promotion lol never seen any real impact from performing on that show, of course better than nothing though haha

Is Leona performing/being interviewed or both on Wossy?

I think she's singing one of the covers from her album.

I don't Hey Brother is in the top 2 in today's midweeks (yet - It'll obviously be 1/2 come Sunday). Radio 1 are playing it now, and they usually save the top 2/3 and play them in the chart update.

All men top 5 in the albums :o
Shame Leona has dropped in both. I imagine she'll be ahead of Ellie though by Sunday to maybe get #3. On the albums, I hope she holds onto the top 10!
Ooo at LA DION maybe moving up in the charts, she's done so much better with this era than I thought.

So much crap in the singles chart ATM, that Kid Ink track is awful and less said about Justin boreber the better! Jason Derulos track is rubbish and the Pharrell track just isn't clicking with me...

I would love to see Avicii get to number one on Sunday but either way I'd be happy

Hopefully Robbie can get back to number one on the album charts

Yay, Killers on the up even before X Factor. Shouldn't be far off top 10 on Sunday and next week, absolutely mental that they'd be anywhere else with a Greatest Hits set.
Expected Rod's Xmas album to be much higher this week.

He burst into the top 30 early in november but hasnt really moved up the chart like Buble has - his sales are obv increasing but not as much as expected. He needs a tv appearence lol!

The worst thing about that album chart is probably 75% of it is made up of people buying them as xmas presents. Which probably 50% of the people receiving them wouldn't have even thought of buying

Surely everyone wants a One Direction album for Christmas?

41 TaraElla - Beauty *

early christmas #1 contender right here, the XF winner better watch their back ;o
