Posted December 10, 201311 yr Soon I'll begin my yearly countdown but the big question is who do you think has nabbed the top spot. Whose tracks are going to be remembered as a classic in say 5 years time. New artists John Newman, Macklemore, Jasmine Thompson & Tom Odell are set to feature as well as big returns from Britney, Justin, Lily Allen & of course Lady GaGa :P For the time being here are links and the top 5's from 2007-2012 :D 2012 http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=148541 1: Fun. - Some Nights 2: Little Mix – Wings 3: Taylor Swift - We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together 4: Of Monsters and Men - Little Talks 5: Labrinth Ft Emeli Sande - Beneath your Beautiful 2011 http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=137322 01: Will Young - Jealousy 02: Lady GaGa - The Edge Of Glory 03: Adele - Set Fire To The Rain 04: Coldplay - Paradise 05: Maroon 5 Ft Christina Aguilera - Moves Like Jagger 2010 http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...20&start=20 1-Cee Lo Green – Forget You (23.05.05.03.01.01.01.01.01.01.02.02.01.01.02.04) 16 Weeks 2-Katy Perry – Teenage Dream (31.30.22.07.01.01.01.01.02.01.02.05.03.05.07.09.11.16.17.22.28.28) 22 Weeks 3-Alicia – Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart (15.16.16.14.10.10.13.13.12.12.14.10.08.08.06.01.01.03.02.03.01.02.05.16.20.25.2 5.27.36.35.30.27.31.37) 34 Weeks 4-Kylie – All the lovers (13.12.08.03.02.03.02.01.01.01.03.07.11.13.18.20.27.31.32.31.26.38.38.40) 24 Weeks 5-Eminem & Rihanna - Love The Way You Lie (18.09.08.08.09.09.10.03.01.02.03.03.07.08.07.08.08.04.13.13.17.22.23.24.26.30.2 5) 27 Weeks 2009 http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...40&start=40 NO.1 Agnes – Release Me /// PK 01 For 6 Weeks/ 34 Weeks In 2009 NO.2 Lady GaGa Ft Colby & Akon - Just Dance /// PK 01 For 5 Weeks. 33 Weeks NO.03 Kelly Clarkson - Already Gone /// PK 01 For 5 Weeks /// 23 Weeks 01 For 4 Weeks /// 28 Weeks NO.4 Lady GaGa - Pokerface /// PK NO.1 For 4 Weeks /// 29 Weeks NO.5 Kelly Clarkson - My Life Would Suck Without You /// PK1 FOR 4 WEEKS /// 28 WEEKS 2008 http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...60&start=60 001=Beyonce - If I Were a Boy 002=Gabriella Cilmi - Sweet about Me 003=Sam Sparro - Black And Gold 004=Katy Perry - I Kissed A Girl 005=Nickelback - Rockstar 2007 http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...40&start=40 1- MIKA - Grace Kelly 2- MCR - Teenagers - Peak 01 3- Leona - Bleeding Love - 01 - peak 4- Avril - Girlfriend - peak 02 5-sugababes - About you Now - peak - 01 Edited January 2, 201411 yr by Rob!
December 10, 201311 yr Heya :hi: All The Lovers, Release Me & Bleeding Love are my faves here :) They're all good though, although Moves like Jagger, black & Gold, Sweet About Me & Forget You were the most annoying of those years for me. Good Stuff Though  Edited December 10, 201311 yr by jsg2013

It's confusing but I'm leaving it for next year mainly, that's the point I'm making. Edited December 30, 201311 yr by Rob!

December 30, 201311 yr Songs that missed my top 100 102 Churches – The Mother We Share Should have been much higher, its one of my favourite singles of the year :(
December 30, 201311 yr Author http://29.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lyd2l17g501qj7d4xo2_500.gif HERE WE GOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! 100-76 76: Foxes – Youth 77: Armin Van Buuren Ft Trevor Guthrie – This Is What it Feels Like 78: Kings of Leon – Supersoaker 79: Avril Lavigne Ft Chad Kroeger – Let Me Go 80: Matt Cardle – When You Were My Girl 81: Demi Lovato – Made in the USA 82: Nicole Scherzinger – Boomerang 83: Tinie Tempah Ft John Martin – Children of the Sun 84: Britney Spears – Perfume 85: Ellie Goulding – How Long Will I Love You 86: Christina Perri – Human 87: Lily Allen – Hard out Here 88: Boyzone – Love Will Save the Day 89: Taylor Swift - 22 90: Avril Lavigne – Here’s To Never Growing Up 91: Dizzee Rascal Ft Robbie Williams - Goin Crazy 92: Iggy Azalea - Work 93: Russ Chimes - Turn Me Out 94: Avicii Ft Salem Al Fakir - You Make Me 95: Little Mix Ft Missy Elliot - How Ya Doin? 96: Bastille - Laura Palmer 97: Kelly Clarkson - People Like Us 98: Emeli Sandé - Clown 99: Iggy Azalea - Bounce 100: Little Mix - Move Amongst all of these we have the floptastic "Laura Palmer", the first song from Bastille in my countdown which deserved so much better than a criminal #42 peak :( Iggy Azalea's dominating the lower region there with "Bounce" & "Work". Lily Allen returned with a insipid cover of that Keane classic but thankfully redeems herself with the brilliant "Hard out Here" shooting up as high as 87 just 1 place above Irish boyband Boyzone who celebrate their 20th Anniversary in the music industry this year, the christmas sounding "Love Will Save the Day" charts at 88. After two stunning pieces of music Christina Perri delivers once again solidifying herself as one of my favourite artists this decade. "Human" is number 86 & The Official CIN single "How Long Will I Love You which may I add is beautifully delivered by Britain's finest Ellie Goulding enters at 85. The first of 2 tracks from Britney bitch is the sublime "Perfume" at 84 and the even better "Alien" is due to be released as a single somewhen, can't wait although judging by her sales and chart positions this year it's not going to be a positive outcome :( Nicole is springing like a "Boomerang" at number 82, not performing as well as she was 2 years previous when "Don't Hold Your Breath" managed top 15 in my EOY but still this was a decent effort and I'm interested to find out what kind of songs she'll be releasing next year ^_^ Matt Cardle registers in 80th place with his first entry of two, When You Were My Girl". Newlyweds Avril & Chad teamed up on "Let Me Go" which is the 3rd single to be released from Avril's self titled current album Avril Lavigne. The song is 78th and finally "Youth" by Foxes manages to come a respectable 76th on my countdown. It really deserved top 10 in the UK charts but I'll live with a 12 peak :P
December 30, 201311 yr Robobobob 76: Foxes – Youth 77: Armin Van Buuren Ft Trevor Guthrie – This Is What it Feels Like 79: Avril Lavigne Ft Chad Kroeger – Let Me Go 81: Demi Lovato – Made in the USA My favourite from her! 82: Nicole Scherzinger – Boomerang Amazing, pop song. 83: Tinie Tempah Ft John Martin – Children of the Sun 84: Britney Spears – Perfume I expected this higher than 'Work Bitch' for some reason! 85: Ellie Goulding – How Long Will I Love You 86: Christina Perri – Human Beautiful. One of the best voices in recent times. 87: Lily Allen – Hard out Here 88: Boyzone – Love Will Save the Day 89: Taylor Swift - 22 90: Avril Lavigne – Here’s To Never Growing Up 92: Iggy Azalea - Work 94: Avicii Ft Salem Al Fakir - You Make Me 95: Little Mix Ft Missy Elliot - How Ya Doin? 96: Bastille - Laura Palmer 97: Kelly Clarkson - People Like Us Anthem. 98: Emeli Sandé - Clown 99: Iggy Azalea - Bounce 100: Little Mix - Move I wish this was higher, but meh. At least it got there :P YES!
December 30, 201311 yr Good to see Boyzone and Ellie made it in the end Rob :D Some other great songs too so far!
December 30, 201311 yr 76: Foxes – Youth Should have been so much higher 85: Ellie Goulding – How Long Will I Love You 86: Christina Perri – Human 87: Lily Allen – Hard out Here 96: Bastille - Laura Palmer 98: Emeli Sandé - Clown 100: Little Mix - Move
December 30, 201311 yr Author 75-51 51: Jasmine Thompson - Ain't Nobody 52: Charlie Brown - On My Way 53: Little Mix - Change Your Life 54: Bruno Mars - Treasure 55: Kelly Clarkson - Underneath the Tree 56: Celine Dion - Loved Me Back to Life 57. Lana Del Rey VS Cedric Gervais – Summertime Sadness 58: Taylor Swift Ft Gary Lightbody - The Last Time 59: Wilkinson Ft Becky Hill - Afterglow 60: Cascada - Glorious 61: Katy Perry - Unconditionally 62: Lady GaGa - Venus 63: Lawson Ft B.O.B. - Brokenhearted 64: Rita Ora - Radioactive 65: MKS - Flatline 66: Justin Timberlake Ft Jay-Z - Suit & Tie 67: Jennifer Lopez Ft Pitbull - Live It Up 68: Nelly - Hey Porsche 69: Classified Ft Olly Murs - Inner Ninja 70: Rizzle Kiicks - Lost Generation 71: Jessie J Ft Big Sean & Dizzee Rascal - Wild 72: Maroon 5 - Daylight 73: Mariah Carey Ft Maguel - #Beautiful 74. Alex Hepburn - Under 75: Passenger - Holes At number 73 we have "Beautiful" from Mariah Carey and new artist Miguel, seems to be extremely popular amongst the forum and I can see why. It's a gorgeous summer track. J-Lo teams up with her main man Pitbull once again to bring us "Live It Up" at 67. MKS otherwise known as Mutya Keisha & Siobhan who we all know are the original Sugababes sent us into overload with the really nice "Flatline", the song charts at 65. Lady GaGa's "Venus" comes at 62 on the countdown followed by Katy Kerry follow up to Roar, the lovely "Unconditionally" although I have to admit it's started tiring on me now. Number 60 belongs to Cascada with their Eurovision track "Glorious", sadly coming in terribly low when the results were announced. Taylor Swift's collab with Snow Patrols frontman Gary Lightbody enters at 58 and Celine Dion's synthetic "Loved Me Back to Life" comes in at 56. The power of Sia *.* Kelly Clarkson's last appearance obviously comes in the form of "Underneath the Tree", a song I heard back in October which manages to help it to this position on the charts. Last but not least 12 year old Jasmine Thompson's nice cover of the Chaka Khan classic "Ain't Nobody" is number 51 just missing out. Sorry the commentary is a bit bleh, my mind is luggish :( Edited December 30, 201311 yr by Rob!

Pink's guest feature Lily Allen features on the countdown at 45 with "True Love" and The Saturdays again show up at 44 this time it's their first ever no.1 single "What About Us". The Feeling were one of the biggest UK bands back in 2006 but don't seem to be as big anymore, their first track taken from their 4th studio album Boy Cried Wold, "Rescue" which features band member Richards son is number 37. The legendary Cher also makes her big return after nearly 10 ways away from the music charts, the excellent "I Hope You Find It" comes in at 35.
