Who cares. It's boosted the best song ever (no, not 1d's song!) enough to probably chart on Sunday *.*

I hope you're referring to Mr. Brightside.

'Unconditionally' getting next to no effect from X Factor at all... even as someone who always thought it was an inexplicably bad single choice, I'm shocked it's doing THIS badly with so much going in its favour, I thought a top 20 peak atleast would be a cert.

Her live vocal was absolutely horrific for the performance, i dont mind Katy Perry but i skipped the last half of the song as i couldnt stick the vocal.

Yeah she is so poor live

People need to stop moaning about the X factor being #1, if it wasn't for its impending release we'd have the xmas #1 selling 50k this week.

Or maybe the XF has meant a lot of popstars don't try for the top spot because it's impossible to compete with them so it's left to either them or a charity/novelty/campaign singles in December & no big releases from the last week of November onwards!

Lack of new entries as well considering there could be as many as 6-8 new/re entries some of those are just X Factor effect (Killers/Tom Odell etc etc), so far I can only see 3 new entries, Sam Bailey, AC/DC (re-entry), The Big Reunion Cast 2013 and Sigma just touching base of the top 40, nothing else seems to be setting the chart alight.

Still 8 on mine?

Sam is #3 on my iTunes too. Should be hitting #1 soon then.

Good to see Leona still sticking in there, Hopefully she stays top 5 this week.

367 - The Retrobot - Christmas Robot

Poor Retrobot. I thought this was going Top 40 at least.

But we haven't had a Christmas classic song since Mariah and that never made #1. The Christmas #1 this last 20 years has always been about novelty (see Blobby and Bob the builder) or a dominant act like the Spice girls.

If it wasn't for X factor 1D would probably being doing a Spice Girls and releasing a big ballad each Xmas and being #1 or some novelty record we all cringe at by mid January.

Can anyone see where Gary is?

The links are on page 1, post 1. At the moment LPB's are not working

I like Katy but she was terrible tonight, yet as usual the judges all stood for her, if a contestant had performed like that I doubt they would've.

Oh Demi is sitll only #27? How come someone posted she was #16?

I think that was from the Pop chart.

How long did it take for James Arthur to reach no.1?
