It was released only to urban radio in the US. It was an official urban single. Whether it came before 'Halo' or not is largely irrelevant - they catered to different formats.

No because you still failing to understand what you read

It was the third and official single from the album, that's all I'm getting at, not everything needs to go into technicalities such as only going to urban radio and it was also released to others such as rhythmic contemporary radios etc. No need to get worked up just because I can't stand Diva :P

I don't understand why 'Diva' was a poor choice of urban single, that is all I'm saying.

Radio was a much better song, fell in <3 with it the moment I heard it :D

Maybe because it was the audio equivalent of violent diarrhoea (though the same goes for several of her other songs).

I do not like 'How Long Will I Love You' very much - bad single choice?

I don't like it that much either. I feel I should as I love most of Ellie's singles, but this is quite boring. :( I didn't think 'Burn' was all that either.

Why would 'Halo' be an urban single? 'Diva' did extremely well anyway.

Halo would have worked fantastic as an urban single imo. It got a lot of airplay on rhythmic and urban formats without even being released to them.

I though Burn was okay. I was surprised to hear that sort of song from Ellie tbh. Most of her songs before that were electropop (like Starry Eyed) or adult contemporary (like The Writer).

Pretty much but she didn't choose it, children in need chose it so that's a different situation all together, at least have a relevant example?

Yeah, I get you. I do think it works but it's just not as good as I expect it to be. I'd take her Lights stuff any day.

Wow Happy up to 77% it could be no1 on iTunes by Sunday! Sam might get a second week at the top with physicals on Sunday Monday & Tuesday! Hope Happy & Sail have a massive increases with the gift card effect, in fact I think Happy could sell over 100k at no1 in that week!

It wouldn't surprise me if Sam Bailey opened up with less than 180,000 and I expect it to drop out the top 10 on iTunes next week.

01. Sam Bailey - Skyscraper 100%

02. Pharrell Williams - 30.6%

Now

01. Sam Bailey - Skyscraper 100%

02. Pharrell Williams - 81.9%

Pharrell should be at number one tomorrow!

Cowell must be tearing his hair out!

On a less happy note, the (relatively) poor performance of this year's XF single is just going to accelerate the decline in singles sales. :(

The Beyoncé songs are now available for individual download
I was scoffed at when I suggested that Sam might not make it a full 7 days on top of iTunes a few days ago!
