Will Katy Perry unconditionally go top 20?

 

Possibly. It was #26 on Wednesday, though once you take out Leona, AC/DC, Mariah, The Pogues & The Big Reunion, the X-Factor would've boosted her to #21 at least. I reckon she'll climb into the T20 for a week or two in the coming weeks, airplay can surely only be building?

 

I say all this as if I support the track... I really don't. Poor single choice in my opinion, doesn't deserve 'hit' status in the same way that her Teenage Dream singles did; including "The One That Got Away". Hopefully she'll release something that's actually had good reception as single #3, "Walking On Air" and "Dark Horse" are both screaming to be released (again).

Yep they are now. The 2nd version is now top 40 so it'll just keep increasing in the last hour as the end of this weeks chart battle for christmas 2013 comes to an close.

Has a good chance of nabbing 4 or maybe 3 tommorow but I think 4 is more achievable, depends how far ahead Leona is.
