I'd never have predicted that the JLS, Keane and Killers hits collections would be so low at this point.

Killers should rise next week after their X Factor performance last night.

Happy with #53 for 'Nightcall' after it was previously looking like doing absolutely nothing (Jonjo gonna hate). Just about outpeaking 'Help Me Lose My Mind' as well. Still deserves so much more though!

In addition to Andy Williams having his first top 100 re-entry since 2009, The Darkness are back this week for their first appearance since 2009 as well. East 17 have also made their first top 75 re-entry in the entire digital era, after peaking between 76 and 100 every year between '08 and '12 (except for '10 where it missed out completely).

I'd never have predicted that the JLS, Keane and Killers hits collections would be so low at this point.

What made you think JLS would do well? They were on their way out a while ago with declining album and single sales...

Didn't expect East 17 to be in the top 75! Always nice to hear Stay Another Day around at this time of year.
Wonder why East 17 & The Darkness have done better than usual this yr. I do know that their respective videos are higher up the video play charts!
Loving all the proper climbers in the top 10, it's just like the 80s all over again!

Sometimes a hits collection bucks the trend though.

Britney jean it's a good album, i don't know why is flopping so hard. I feel bad for Britney. :(

I Hope get at lest 30k

Anything less than 100k would be horrific!

Nex week will be out of top 100-150. it'll be kind of 40-45k if the third single get top 10 and i don't see that happening :arrr:

I probably miscounted somewhere re: Elvis' number of hits  It's somewhere in that general region is all I can guarantee.

What are Idina Menzel's three other top 100 entries?

'Defying Gravity' with Kristin Chenoweth (#60 in 2008)

'I Dreamed A Dream' with Glee Cast (#36 in 2010)

'Poker Face' with Glee Cast (#27 in 2010)

The former of those is listed as just Chenoweth 'officially' (in fact it's just 'Kristin' on the OCC website) but I haven't found any evidence of a solo version of it existing so I'm assuming that was a mistake. The other 2 were definitely 'Glee Cast feat. Idina Menzel'.

The OCC list "I Dreamed A Dream" and "Poker Face" as just being by Glee Cast on their archive website

The OCC list "I Dreamed A Dream" and "Poker Face" as just being by Glee Cast on their archive website

The OCC only ever acknowledged features on Glee songs by Gwyneth Paltrow. Plenty of their songs had feature credits on iTunes which the OCC ignored.

Those that made the top 75:

'Alone' [feat. Kristin Chenoweth]

'Bohemian Rhapsody' [feat. Jonathan Groff]

'Dream On' [feat. Neil Patrick Harris]

'Hello' [feat. Jonathan Groff]

'I Dreamed A Dream' [feat. Idina Menzel]

'Like A Prayer' [feat. Jonathan Groff]

'Like A Virgin' [feat. Jonathan Groff]

'Physical' [feat. Olivia Newton-John]

'Poker Face' [feat. Idina Menzel]

'Rolling In The Deep' [feat. Jonathan Groff]

'Run Joey Run' [feat. Jonathan Groff]

'Total Eclipse Of The Heart' [feat. Jonathan Groff]

+ the 4 Gwyneth tracks which were correctly credited ('Forget You', 'Landslide', 'Singing In The Rain / Umbrella' and 'Turning Tables').

So according to the OCC (and Polyhex) it's Idina Menzel's first solo-credited charting hit then.
Ha, as if that's even an achievable goal.

Her last album did nowhere near 100k anyway.

When it left the Top 200 in September 2011 it had just crossed over 80k, and then it reentered the Top 200 for another couple of weeks in late Oct / early Nov of the same year. I guess by the end of 2011 it was on 85k+ and perhaps in the last 2 years it may have reached the 90k+ region.

Britney Jean will probably end up selling a quarter of Femme Fatale. :( Strangely enough, Femme Fatale only sold a quarter of the amount Circus sold.
