McCrae had the potential to be such a sneaky, amazing game-player in the first week, I agree. He actually scared me in week 1 because he was such a threat to everybody. :lol: I didn't like it, but at least that was when he was playing the game. He just became a non-entity with the Amanda business.

Wow. Just knocked out two winners. I'm also going to be highlighting in more detail Ashlee and Sophia's reign on My Kitc.hen Rules. But let's start off with Emma Dean the winner of Masterchef Australia this year. It was a shock win. It really was. Emma started off STRONG. Winning the first Immunity in this season of Masterchef; and than she got lucky.. Always on a winning team and performing sub par so she kept onto that immunity for ages. Once the Top 10 kinda hit she burnt out and never really did anything.. She somehow made it to the Final 3... and won... Most random win of the year that's for sure. Like I said I will be coming back to Ashlee Pham & Sophia Pou - AMAZE. Lauren Harries was on Celebrity Big Brother 12. I'll be honest didn't know much about her before the season started. She was fragile, funny and I loved her relationship with Courtney. Seriously. Two of the baddest bitches of the house. She had some golden moments in the series for sure, but I felt bad for her.. I think people overestimated her emotions and treated her badly. Nedra Harris should really have her own post as well - she was f***ing HILARIOUS. Highlight of every single episode up until she was eliminated. She was a true goddess of her series. Mannerisms, Arguments.. She had it all. LOVES HER. Hillal Kara-Ali should really have a post dedicated to how HOT he was. Interesting thing. He was selected to be THE MOLE. However rumour had it this was changed AFTER the show actually started filming. Everyone had reservations about a Muslim Mole (the intent is to lie), so it was changed in the series itself. Hillal was not only hot but really interesting. He did end up lying and manipulating to win and I loved him for it. Good on ya Hillal.

Srsly. Amazing.

These two girls got me ADDICTED to My Kitch.en Rules last year.

Long story short. 3 introductory rounds. And in each of those rounds there were the misfits or the bitches. Ashlee and Sophia were in Round 3; and to that point the "bitches" - Jessie &

Biswa and Lisa & Candice were already eliminated. They essentially just ran their mouths and didn't produce anything good. At this point it looked as if Ashlee and Sophia were going down that track as well. Nope. They actually ended up finishing 2nd in their heat and were moved into the Top 12.

 

The catty bitchiness did not stop their, thank god. They constantly were fighting with other teams, mostly Angela Kennedy & Melina Bagnato and Jenna Jaede & Joanna Stirn who I previously eliminated. Not only did they turn out to be AMAZING tv; they actually preformed amazingly well and could actually f***ing cook!

BABES. Australia ended up hating them. I don't see why. They spoke their minds. They were great at what they did. Sure they were a little bitchy.. but.. whatever. BABES.

First off we start with the Runner Up in this season of Masterchef Australia Lynton Tapp Don't know how he made it this high because he was boring as all hell. He did have a sob story that wasn't really his that was highlighted about 50 times during the show. His sister fell off a horse and is now paralysed. He take care of her. BYEEE. Carol McGiffin was a drunk on the last series of Celebrity Big Brother. Seriously. I loved watching this women drunkenly slur her words in arguments with the rest of the house, and she usually won. I think it may be time for her to check into AA, or at least get her own Reality TV Show where I can watch her drunkenly argue with people. Courtney Stodden was also on this series of Celebrity Big Brother; and she did not disappoint. Although she wasn't the most entertaining person in the entire season it was really interesting to watch her friendship with Lauren and justify not kissing her much older husband during a task that she won. I think she probably changed a few peoples minds about her; or at least put her name out there to be recognized. Helen Kim was the true mastermind of this season of Big Brother 15. Seriously when this chick came on episode one there was NO f***ing way I'd anticipate she'd preform as well as what she did. However she won one of the first few HOHs and took the house by storm. She mastermind so many evictions in the first few weeks she gained a fan in me. However, she wasn't quick enough to take down the resident bully and was taken out by Amanda. I keep forgetting, despite the horrible outcome of this season; we actually had worthy players.. Helen being one of them. I wouldn't be shocked to see her in an AllStars season; in fact I'm pretty sure she's cemented her spot. GINAMARIE ZIMMERMAN. Did you know she has a single out? HA! I.... Don't even know where to begin. Again. Night one. Had you told me this bitch was going to be in the Final 2 I would have laughed in your face. But it happened. Somehow. She wasn't even coherent enough to string together a sentence in the finals. Amanda: Other than getting me out, what was your biggest move. GinaMarie: Probably getting you out *FAIL*. Towards the middle of the season there was Racismgate. Alot of people put the emphasis on Aaryn, but GinaMarie wasn't innocent of it either. When she wasn't making racial slurs or blasting the Gays she was harbouring an unhealthy obsession with Nick who was evicted in what, Week 2? She was still crying over him up until the end of the series... GinaMarie was.... special. We can at least agree on that.

GinaMarie's single is so bad that I actually quite like it. :lol: Definite guilty pleasure. Didn't like her as a houseguest though, she didn't do a lot in terms of game and as a person she wasn't pleasant either. Having said that, she was my choice to win once McCrae got evicted. Says a lot about that final 3.

 

Helen was brilliant, however. She was stupid not to get Amanda out but she really was running that house for the first half of the season.

Wow. Two winners for the price of one really. Both of the last two winners of Celebrity Big Brother are out in a row. This was the first time I was ever exposed to Charlotte Crosby; but she was entertaining that's for sure. She pissed herself in the first 24 hours and had many drunken moments after that. However, I can't think back to anything she did that did when she wasn't drunk, oh well. Next out Rylan Clark; Remember that time between X Factor and BOTS when Rylan was berable? What's with his teeth now!? What the f***?! He went Head to Head against "Speidi" and I don't think there were really any winners in that situation. What I liked most about Rylan in this series was that he was willing to give it a go and he was very humble. Deserving winner; but I would have prefered Spencer and Heidi TBH. Noelene Marchwiki was on Masterchef Australia. She was old. Wolfy Millington probably had the quickest Self Suicide I've ever seen on Big Brother. She went to being Crowd Favorite on Day 9 to evicted on Day 30. She was a little bit of a free thinker, a little bit of a hippie but had no self awareness what-so-ever. She constantly felt that she needed to defend herself, that she was under attack and her shit didn't stink. Well her shit did stunk and she was sent packing. Tully Smyth... Where do I begin with this.... creature? First off. Loved her from the second I laid eyes on her. PR. Constantly on the phone. Social Media Guru and a Lesbian? What more could you ask for?! It went downhill from there sadly. She was with her girlfriend for about 2 years when she went in.. than she was all "Not sure if I'm a lesbian" and started a showmance with Drew. When she wasn't sabatoging her own relationships, she was strumping around the house crying. Tully probably had to be the worlds UGLIEST crier ever. Anyways, Tully turned out to be a Mid-Season boot; kinda sad because I hated to love to watch her.. Oddly enough her Girlfriend stuck by her side and was at her eviction; we even got her arguing with former houseguests openly on Twitter*. When Tully got out I think her and her Girlfriend lasted 2 days and broke up. Drew and Tully dated as well until recently.

Charlotte and Rylan :wub: Two of my fave CBb housemates EVER.

 

Tully and Wolfy on the other hand... :puke: Fittingly placed together - both awful, both lesbians (or not in Tully's case I guess given the Drew thing). Tully was probably worse as she lasted longer in her series and kept staying! I didn't really like her to begin with but she just became a proper miserable bitch, pretty much my least favourite of an amazing series (of course the likes of Nathan and Sharon were too dull to not be near the bottom but they weren't awful)! I knew her and Drew wouldn't last, in honesty I didn't think it would continue any further at all outside the house :lol:

Tully I think went at the perfect time.

To that point; we had gotten rid of all the bores (Sharon, Xavier, Jasmin, Matthew, Caleb) it was her time to go. In a vote to Evict she would have been gone weeks earlier; but I appreciated the Australian Public at least appreciating she brought SOMETHING over the people she beat.

I copped a lot of slack preferring Caleb to Matthew or Ed. But honestly. He's got a thicker body which I love and his personality was better. Ed was a little bitch and Matthew was too straight forward. Caleb was hot and fun.

Daniel Kelty was on Masterchef Australia 5 and was robbed. Next. Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt. How do I introduce these two. They beat the winner in my books. Episode after Episode they delivered on Drama, Fighting and Isolation. When things didn't go their way; they'd pull a fit.. well at least Spencer would and Heidi would come along for the ride. I had no idea that The Hills was even that big in the UK. I didn't have high hopes for them performing that well in Celebrity Big Brother; but with a Vote To Save this series they made it all the way to the Final Two and really should have taken out Rylan. GARY LEVY will have his own ranking up next! Mikkayla Mossop could have been the winner of Big Brother Australia. She went in as the favourite to win and that quickly deterorated after about a week. She had everything; The Sob Story - being adopted by a white family, and not fitting in and wanting to change her personal appearance. However she failed to deliver or capitalize on this, aligned herself with the "Wrong Side" of the House and became this big, soppy mess. She basically missed out on winning because she didn't play the game. ALSO - She had another opportunity when intruder Justyn came in and tried to take over the care of Mr Clooney.. Had she really stood up for herself in this situation she would have gained A LOT of ground. Ed Lower was one half of JED - the worst couple I've ever seen on a Big Brother before. At first I thought Ed was smart at keeping his distance from Jade and breaking it off early, however like a cockroach Jade came back with full force and Ed was just too weak to retaliate. They went on dates, made out and probably more but Ed didn't want to commit. It was like seeing a Straight Guy who was actually Gay just putting up with a relationship. The best and worst thing to happen to Ed was when Jade said she loved him - and he did nothing. Nothing at all. Just kept on the ride. I'm not sure if they're still together now.. they didn't spend Christmas together I know that much.

Before I actually get into the ranking of Gary, Let’s discuss some gays of Big Brother past..

 

Dustin - Actually physically vomit inducing, his strategy sucked but his blindside was justified and amazing.

Wil - Great comic relief, and potential comp threat (or so we were to believe...) but the only thing memorable about Wil was the fact that he turned on Janelle, his coach, who saved him by the way, when she needed him the most.

Steven - Horrible game play, and a complete flop in the Gay Porn World as well..

 

So we have Gary.

 

Gary for me was an excellent match for what the people above are missing. Comic Relief, Sensible Game Play and actually for me, enjoyable to watch.

 

Was Gary’s game play excellent? No. If it was he wouldn’t have been evicted in the first place. But at the same point in time.. we have to remember, returning players can be apart of the game. That’s just a fact that we need to deal with.

 

Let’s not forget Rachel won with a second life. Sure, she played in another season - but she was given another chance. She was successful - but you didn’t really hear anyone saying “well, she had another chance” did we?

 

The fact that Gary lost for me was a bigger disappointment over the fact he didn’t win. And there is a difference there. I guess what I am trying to say, if you look at Jillian vs Gary. Jillian getting to final two was somewhat easy. She had no real drive to be at the end, she just won competitions. She didn’t care if she won or lost.. the fact that she wanted to take Emmett was idiotic, but shows that she actually didn’t care what happened at the end - and probably for her a justifiable loss.

 

Gary actually not only overcame being a competitor, an annoyance, a burden and a social threat, he was the only one that actually broke up the couple. Based on this I don’t think he should have LOST against Jillian. However if he was sitting next to someone with a little bit more drive, determination and game savvy (Emmett), perhaps he would have deserved to have lost.

 

You can blame anyone from Topaz to the Producers for Gary not winning. It still kind of leaves me with a sinking feeling knowing that a mistaken vote actually counted to make someone successful in this game. But that’s that, there is no point in harbouring over it anymore than we need to. Nothing will change.

 

In the Ongoing Commentary Thread, I had this to say about Gary’s loss. Sums up everything quite well I believe:

 

At the end of the day, it sucks that Jillian was awarded $100,000 because of a mistake.. but I understand and respect that's the right thing to do..

 

But a few points.

 

Had the shoe been on the other foot, and it was Emmett's vote that was f***ed up, he probably would have acted the same way, exactly like he did in the Veto Comp.

All this does is secure Gary's place in BBCAN All-Stars, pending we get one.. that's if he's not doing something better such as hosting.. or even better they fire Arisa and hire Gary/Zoe - god know's he's got better hosting skills as an amateur compared to Arisa.

And Emmett clapping in the background.. I was hoping he'd have a bigger respect for the game, rather than Jillian winning on a mistake.

 

I realize that I have spent most of Gary’s review discussing other people, and the fact that he lost the game. Perhaps that’s because this is fresh in my mind as I write his review the day after his loss.

 

Gary dominated in my mind this season. He’s a character I didn’t think I would really like, but I actually turned out quite enjoying.

He dominated in my personal chart, and rightfully so. When I was looking for someone to lighten the mood, give me a laugh, call out someones idiotic ways or just completely discredit someone - Gary was there. He brought laughter and drama. Some would say tears but I never cried over anything he did. But I do believe that his intention was to represent himself and the gay community. I think he did a decent job with this. Nothing that Gary did was exceptional - but hardly anything anyone does anywhere is. Gary just happened to be, in my eyes, one of the better characters,drivers and competitors this season.

Mikkayla :wub: Adored her pretty much all the way through! Her or Tahan really should have won. What I loved about Mikkayla is that she used to just say whatever she thought no matter what, I think she was a bit abrasive though which brought her down i think. She really could have won though I agree if she stayed how was at first.

Interesting Note: Gary was #1 for me for months; up until BBUK, BBAU and The Block finished. They all had daily shows; so it knocked Gary down, significantly.

 

Next Out: Someone that would probably piss off the forum knowing I eliminated them before the Top 5.

092| Lucy Wallrock - Masterchef Australia 5

 

Lucy Wallrock was on Masterchef Australia - I don't really have anything amazing to say about her.. but I highly suggest watching Masterchef Australia if you can.. they're all amazing; especially the first two seasons.

I think season 3 and 4 of Masterchef AU have been my favourites. I thought Lucy was rather wonderful, totally British to her core.

 

080| Jules Allen - Masterchef Australia 5

 

Jules Allen was another Cheftestant on Masterchef Australia. I think you guys really would have adored her. She could cook and was the adopted mother of over 29 foster children. Holy f***. Rarely do I ever fall victim to the sob stories on Reality TV Shows.. But Jules resonated with me.. She's just a good person and a decent chef.

I was utterly GUTTED she was not the winner. She shouldn't have been eliminated and if it wasn't for bast*rd Kelty, she'd have been the one that returned to deservedly triumph! She gave me life continuously and she just seems so genuinely lovely.

Neha Sen was another cheftestant on Masterchef Australia. None of you seem to watch that so we will move on to....

Neha was a loon. She was the only Queenslander on the season so naturally I supported her fully throughout.

And Christina Batista was a lesbian mother from Australian Masterchef Australia. She was weak in the beginning of the series, but picked it up - only to be knocked out. BYEEE.

Second favourite of the year behind Jules. She was just so funny and lovely and amazing and genuine and god her style was just magnificent. Reminded me of Caro Emerald in so many ways.

So both Daniel Churchill and Vern Fitzgerald were from Masterchef Australia. Here's the lowdown. Daniel was hot* and Vern was robbed. BYEEE.

Samira El Khafir was on Masterchef Australia - She started out episode 1 as the person to watch, then did NOTHING for like 6 weeks until she was eliminated. Then she came back. Then she started taking names and producing some material for the show. She was the person I was rooting for in the final three; but alas, she came 3rd.

What a lass! Such comedy. I liked her from the start but i really loved her after she returned. She was just hilarious.
