Quality was down across the board for me but they had two excellent years in 3 and 4. I'm not sure I liked the whole scrapping of Auditions thing.

Wow. Almost all Big Brother people. I TOLD YOU PEOPLE WOULD BE PISSED *crickets* First out in this batch is Elissa Slater. I really think had this season been better casted, or had more likeable people we probably wouldn't have loved Elissa as much as we did. What did she do really? Was handed MVP. Didn't win as many competitions as her Sister. Got out the wrong person during her own HOH. Was evicted by someone she was apparently alligned with. And was a poster child for Abuse Victims (in the house). The latter probably lead to the majority of her popularity, taking on constant harassment from Amanda definitely added Elissa's popularity. Will Elissa be back? For sure. Does she deserve to? I'd debate that; sure she won some competitions, but the reason we talk about her is because of the relation to her sister. I will admit though she had some funny one liners. Callum Knell was somehow involved in a Love Triagle? I don't think Charlie ever really liked him. On a scale from 1 to 10 I don't think I'd give him more than a 6.5. He lied on his VT to get into the house and was called out on it. At the end of the day, in his last weeks he became a whiny, annoying git and it lead to his justifiable eviction. Ben Zabel was probably I'd think one of the smartest casting decisions on any Big Brother of any country this year. He was funny and likeable, however at times it seemed production was shoving him down our throats. Alot of skeptics thought he was fake; and when it was discovered that Ben was actually a Stand Up Comedian things went downhill from there. I think Ben was maybe 75% - 80% real most of the times, and the rest of the time he was clearly playing up to the camera. Still, his eviction was the most shocking eviction of any Big Brother this year. Jack and Joe Glenny were the fatass twins from Big Brother UK this year. Didn't like them. Not sure how they made it so high on my list. I won't waste another breath on them. Rebecca & George Douros were a married couple on The Block Australia this year. They were a very hip and likeable couple. She was insanely pretty and he was kinda cute. Nothing about their design ability or commentary was really all that special; however events played out on the show which gripped peoples hearts. Rebecca's Mom was battling cancer for years. At the beginning of the series she was considered the "Block Mom" because she would do contestants laundry, drop off hot dinners.. and than everything took a turn for the worst. Long story short; she died during the filming of the program.. pretty much right in the middle of everything. Rebecca and George actually STAYED on the show, but did take a week off.. the other contestants helped with that weeks room. It was really sad to watch to be honest..

Only going to eliminate 4 now... leaving the Top 10!

YES. Aaryn Gries did beat Elissa in my Personal Chart. And by 30 points as well. Let's start off and address the fact that Aaryn is a racist. Because she is. She made racial comments. I don't think she intentionally meant to hurt anyone when saying them; she really just wanted attention but that excuses nothing. Other than that I actually really enjoyed Aaryn. She won more competitions than anyone else that season. The fact that she basically needed to give up her HOHs to the likes of Helen was funny as f*** to watch as well. We basically got to see Aaryn's friends all leave before her eyes and when it came time for revenge.. she simply couldn't deliver. It almost looked like Aaryn was going to make it towards the end as well, until Elissa won HOH and made one of the most stupid moves ever. Can you imagine an Aaryn/Gina Marie Final 2 though? The jury would have imploded. Anthony "Drew" Drew.. what a f***ing stupid name.. it's actually just Drew was on Big Brother Australia this last year. He was probably known best as being Tim's wingman the whole season. What I liked most about Drew was his random bitchiness to the likes of Ed, Mikkayla and Jade. Drew ended up being really bitter towards the end of the season which was actually quite funny to watch. And as far as looks go.. he got hotter and hotter as the season continued. Yum. Matthew Di Costa and Kimberley Owen were another couple on the Australian Renovation Show; The Block. First off they were alliance mates with Alisa & Lysandra which gives them extra points in my books, but they actually came out with a fairy decent apartment as well. They were entertaining to watch and I was actually really drawn to Kim. I started off hating them to begin with; but they really warmed on me. Rishi Desai is my final contestant from Masterchef; and I truly think he should have won the whole thing. Consistently he was on THE TOP of the competition until the final week which saw Samira take him out. The final week played out horribly; Samira and Rishi should have taken out two other people; but they both failed.. upsetting really.

I could not stand Ben! I'm one of those who thought his was fake; he wasn't horrible but there was something about him I didn't buy... His eviction (the actual one, not the fake one as that was possibly the most obvious of the series!) was a total huge shock though as I still had him pegged to win at that point :o

 

Jack and Joe were awful too. Completely arrogant and unwatchable :(

OMG that top 10 looks like several sorts of AMAZING (Charlie, Amanda, Dan - all amazing people (there's no denying Amanda was a fabulous game-player :wub:)

YAY for Gina, Charlie and Hazel being here though, the latter was very love/hate of course but I thought she was great entertainment.

She was a good game player for roughly 80% of the time she was in the house. She became terrible when her relationship with McCrae was about to be torn apart because one of them would be gone, which is when she got desperate and started bullying Elissa (I'd really say that's the only time I would have deemed her behaviour so inappropriate).

I'm not sure about Rishi. Some days I liked him, others I really just couldn't stand him.

 

I do think a final of him and Samira would have been far better than an Emma/Lynton final.

I always thought Rishi was gay.

Then it turned out he had a wife and kids.

Still could be gay though. His mannerisms were odd..

#10: JADE ALBANY PIETRANTOINO - Big Brother Australia (294 Points)

 

 

So, Jade is out first in the Top 10.

Jade started off strong, she was part of a Launch Twist where she went in with her Husband Drew. But this was of course a lie. Jade and Drew only met 5 minutes before going into the house. Of course the house figured out that this was a lie and they failed the task they were given. Jade, Drew and whole bunch of other people were up in Week One, but both survived.

 

 

After this we didn't really see much of Jade for a few weeks. This was until she formed a relationship with Ed.

 

Their relationship in the first few weeks was very rocky. There was Jasmin who also showed an interest in Ed; but Jade saw to it that she was evicted. After this it would seem that Jade had Ed all to herself, but not quite. He tried breaking things off with Jade; but she wouldn't take no for an answer and kept pursuing him. It was kind of awkward to watch. A girl - interested in a Guy that just told her that he wanted nothing to do with him.

 

Nothing really changed, She kept going after him; and he never really seemed all that interested.. It seemed more like a friendship.. with Kissing.

 

Eventually Ed started to show some interest, Ed and Jade went on a few Big Brother supplied dates and I really think that Ed just gave up and gave into Jade. Than there was ILoveYouGate where Jade maybe, perhaps let it slip that she loved him during an eviction where neither of them went. Awkward.

 

 

She ended up saying it again, and really got nothing back.

 

Their whole relationship was a talking point of the house. She seemed obsessed; he seemed uninterested. This really proved to be the only storyline that Jade would get.

 

Ed ended up getting evicted about a week before the final leaving Jade by herself with Drew/Boog/Tim and Tahan.

 

 

She didn't really stand out at this point either; but the public must have seen something because Jade ended up being Runner Up to Tim.

#9: CHARLIE TRAVERS - Big Brother UK (296 Points)

 

 

What a mess.

Charlie Travers to me was one of the more complex stars of Big Brother last year. She came in with her mother, and when she left Charlie didn't even shed a tear.

 

 

Infact she went on an all out binge of Dexter and Callum playing cock-hog to the both of them.

I actually respect Charlie, she showed interest and kept her distance at the same time. Not like Ed who was just like "Don't like you.. BYEEE" to Jade.

She kept herself insanely relevant and that took her all the way to the final.

 

 

I however think she should have ended up with Callum.

 

One of my favorite arguments was Charlie/Hazel when Gina actually ended up turning on Charlie and siding with Hazel.

The whole Hazel/Gina alliance could have been amazing. Alas. 12 hours later Charlie weasled her graces back into the house and the Gina/Hazel alliance died.

 

Even though Charlie didn't win... she did get another prize of sorts...

 

 

Charlie :wub: Definitely one of the best housemates Big Brother has had!

I loved Jade :wub: She wasn't as entertaining as Tim, Mikkayla or Queen Tahan but she was so lovely and just seemed a genuinely nice and fun girl. I was kind of rooting for her niceness to win out in the end once Tahan was out, but of course Tim was a brilliant winner too.

 

Charlie was great too, she is behind only Gina for me from that series. Started a bit slow but she was definitely an interesting character and amazingly likeable.

#8: AMANDA ZUCKERMAN - Big Brother USA (304 Points)

I actually liked Amanda. But I thought her game-play was TERRIBLE. Sure she intimdated and bullied her way to what.. 6th? But there was no way she was going any further than that, and if she did. There was no way in HELL she was winning.

 

Initially I thought she was beautiful and someone I'd root for the entire season, until she started hooking up with McCrae.. ick.. Not sure what she saw in him. She's successful, smart, big breasted.. and you're going to go for a PIZZA DELIVERY BOY!? COME ON. Well TBH she didn't have much to pick from inside the house.. but still.. I'd go with Nick or even Judd over McCrae.

Props to her though, she made a horrible season slightly more bearable by taking out Nick, Judd (the first time), Howard, Jeremy.. but she was pretty horrible to watch towards the end.

I never had an emotional connection to Elissa but watching her (try to) distroy her was pretty pathetic.. what was even more pathetic was Judd and Andy, the so called men of the house just watched.

Seriously, if Amanda would have got to the end with McCrae or Andy or Anyone, I didn't see her getting many votes; which is sad because she played rings around most of the house.. but the personal attacks were too much.

 

I would LOVE to see her come back, sans Pizza Boy. Perhaps even an Elissa/Rachel/Amanda alliance could even sprout? Doubt it. But we can dream.

#7: Hazel O'Sullivan - Big Brother UK (313 Points)

 

 

I've always been looking for the glamour model that can change the public perception on Big Brother.

Hazel did not do this. Was she even a glamour model? I don't even remember. Does this bitch have a profession?

 

 

If you think about it, Hazel was really the terminator this season.

 

Week 4: Callum/Hazel/Jackie/Wolfie - She took out Wolfie despite being equally hated.

Week 5: Saved by a twist; and took out Daley in #GirlfriendBeaterGate

Week 6: Another twist saved Hazel resulting in Dan's eviction

Week 7: Callum/Hazel/Twins/Dexter - Should have been Hazel, but was Callum instead

Week 8: BITCH IS FINALLY OUT

 

 

Let's take a minute to review #GirlfriendBeaterGate ; Sure.. Daley never actually beat up Hazel but his aggressive nature sent him packing after the Public chose to send Hazel/Daley into the Secret House? Sepeate House? Hookup Shack? Who cares. This was amazing though. To this point Daley was friends with pretty much the entire house and was deadset to be in the Finals because nobody was going to put him up. Horny Hazel argued and tried to make up with Daley, but his aggressive sexual drive of holding Hazel down caused him to be expelled from the house.

 

 

The best part of Daley's ejection was when he was evicted in her pink hoodie; questioning what she had said to BB in the Diary Room about what had actually happened.

 

HA.

 

Another take-down that you sadly must give Hazel credit for was Gina. In the last few weeks of Big Brother, Gina was the clear favourite to win. She turned the whole house in her favour and was a house favourite. Except with Hazel. The arguments with Gina/Hazel in Hazel's last week cut down Gina's odds to win and I believe cost her the game. f***ing bitch.

 

 

Oh, and we can't forget the On Again/Off Again friendship of Hazel and Charlie. There was #CucumberGate and #YouCausedDaleyToGetEjectedGate

 

 

Hazel never failed to bring the drama, or stick up for herself. No matter how much of an idiot it made her.

#6: Tahan Lew-Fatt - Big Brother Australia (324 Points)

 

There is always one person on Big Brother that blows you away. They totally change your perception on them and they are instantly one of your favourites. For me, and BBAU this year it was Tahan Lew-Fatt.

Model. Country Girl. Real. Beautiful. Complex. Diva. Friend. These are all words that described Tahan this year. She was one of the first leaked BB Contestants and by her VT I thought she was going to be out the first few weeks. Boy was I wrong.

 

She developed into this complex star who owned that house. Whether it was crying over Tim not getting her hairdryer in secret tasks, or talking smack about the Sugar Sisters or Jade, Tahan always delivered the goods.

 

She was a target from week one, and was nominated 9/11 weeks where the housemates nominated. In fact she received over 89 Nomination Points whilst she was in the house and was by far the most nominated housemate. However the public saw something in her and kept her in and brought her all the way to the finals.

 

Tahan really overcame all the odds and was the most entertaining and diverse housemates this year.

Things weren't all nicey nice with Tahan. She did speak her mind quite a bit.. but she was mostly spot on.

 

 

Her Alliances and Enemies gained her traction in the house. She detested Ed, Jade and the Sugar Sister but her friendships with Boog, Tim and Drew created a divide that was interesting to watch. Who would want to be friends with the other side anyways? I'd love to be friends with Tim/Drew and Boog, they were the fun ones!

 

 

Sadly, Tahan was robbed by Jade and kicked out in 3rd Place in the Finals.

I can see Tim winning, that was obvious.. but to have Jade beat Tahan was truly not right.
