141. WILL.I.AM FT. JUSTIN BIEBER - #THATPOWER (-224 POINTS)

WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 4
OCC PEAK: 2 (1wk)
RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 8
AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 1
AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 29
POSITIVE VOTES: 28
NEGATIVE VOTES: 81
RUN: 7-7-9-10
AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -56

Finishing off the bottom ten is Will.I.Am getting his second bottom ten entry of the year and now tieing for overall B10 entries with Chris Brown (Yeah 3X (2011), Champion (2011), Turn Up The Music (2012), Don't Wake Me Up (2012)). Perhaps recruiting media darling and previous holder of the Reshuffle worst song of the year award, Justin Bieber, wasn't going to help much in this game, perhaps he wasn't thinking about the Reshuffle chart at the time, but I like to think most artists do. I haven't talked much about the song because it's forgettable crap.

140. JASON DERÜLO - THE OTHER SIDE (-211 POINTS)

WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 4
OCC PEAK: 2 (1wk)
RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 10
AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 0
AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 15
POSITIVE VOTES: 22
NEGATIVE VOTES: 87
RUN: 10-9-9-10
AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -52.75

Finishing just ahead of the bottom 10 is Jason Derülo with his number #2 song "The Other Side", the first of Jason's three 2013 top ten hits to show up, proving him to be a remarkably consistant artist, chart performance-wise. The song is one of his better ones, by being inoffensive and pleasant to listen to, although it's nothing remarkable.

139. JASON DERÜLO - TRUMPETS (-198 POINTS)

The second of the current top ten to appear, and Derülo's second to appear, leaving his chart topper (Talk Dirty) remaining. I don't know what to say about this song, i definitely don't like it, but I don't know whether I hate it or not, Jason's voice certainly grates on this, and my overall conclusion is that the song is a bit of a mess.

138. MILEY CYRUS - WE CAN'T STOP (-195 POINTS)

The second OCC #1 to appear on the countdown following "One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)", and also the first song to feature female vocals, as is usual on this rundown there were no females in the bottom 10. Rihanna, Emeli Sandé, Lauren Bennet, Ms. D & Dev have all appeared in a featured credit on other people's songs (Run This Town, Diamond Rings, Party Rock Anthem, Heatwave & She Makes Me Wanna respectively), in fact to date only one female has been the lead vocalist in a Bottom 10 song and that was Pixie Lott in 2009 with "Mama Do (Uh Oh, Uh, Oh). But Miley's "We Can't Stop" still is the lowest scoring for the ladies this year, and it seems to be the year of Miley at least in pop music getting by far more exposure than anyone else this year. I thought "We Can't Stop" was decent by the way. Not as good as "Wrecking Ball", but thankfully that is still to come.

Guilty pleasure time! Obviouslly heavily sampling from A-ha, the reason I like this song is purely down to Christina, who manages to cling to relevance with features. I love her bit of this song, the Pitbull bit is quite "meh" apart from his pronounciation of "Aguilera", Pitbull does still have worse songs to come but that's it from Aguilera this year.

136. 2 CHAINZ FT. WIZ KHALIFA - WE OWN IT (-166 POINTS)

WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 2
OCC PEAK: 6 (1wk)
RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 10

AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 19
POSITIVE VOTES: 6
NEGATIVE VOTES: 46

Up next from the soundtrack to this year's Fast & Furious movie, and the lowest song to feature on just two weeks, it's 2 Chainz who's had quite a successful 2013, I'm not a big fan of this genre but the song was OK, but nothing I'd choose to listen to. This video is of course is Harsher In Hindsight, featuring as it did in the source film; car crashes, a funeral and the gone-too-soon Paul Walker.

Story Of My Life really isn't that bad, it's their least offensive single to date imo. Plus the Gary Barlow one is similarly tolerable in a local radio kind of way.

The Pitbull/Xtina track above is going to be hard to beat in terms of being unoriginal and unlistenable.

I don't think those One Direction tracks deserve to be so low. David Guetta should've come last. I like Akon and Ne-Yo (sometimes), but the song is really boring now (although the new version is an improvement over the original).

Can't really remember how Gary Barlow's song goes, I think I've only heard it once or twice.

Harlem Shake is brilliant, it should've been much higher imo. Definitely a memorable track this year for me! :D Hey Porsche isn't too bad, but I haven't heard it in ages (nowhere near as omnipresent as Whistle was last year). Bang Bang is quite nice and quirky, and an improvement on will.i.am's few singles before that.

2 Chainz should've got much higher! Good to see #thatPOWER and The Other Side low down, I can't stand those songs. Feel This Moment isn't too bad, since I like the song it samples, but not amazing. I think We Can't Stop and Trumpets should've been higher.

135. JAMES BLUNT - BONFIRE HEART (-159 POINTS)

AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 25
POSITIVE VOTES: 29

Blunty's back, saved a Bottom 10 place by a relatively short chart T10 run, I quite liked this song, I know it's the usual Radio 2/Capital fodder, but it was very easy to listen to, with Blunt's vocal less shrill than in previous singles, and I think it's a nice chill out song though, obviously more people didn't think so.

I agree with both on the points about One Direction, I've enjoyed 2013's output a lot more than the two years preceding it, I don't think they'll be as low down on the weekly average chart anyway.

Pitbull leaves the race predictably early as his second single drops out, this song is clearly meant to be club fodder with a Latin feel to it, but only manages to be repetitive and unimaginative. Pitbull does however finish higher than Blunt as DSTP recieved two "+5s" compared to BH's none.

Another Disney starlet at #133, this one i'm not familiar with in the slightest, but she too entered the charts in 2013 with this song, which is quite forgettable and underwhelming and I can understand its low placing.

Another OCC #1 drops out but fear not there's still 28 to feature, it's also the first leftover from 2012 to drop out, as I said last year (where it fared better 114th of 144) I never liked the song, but his version is marginally better than Shontelle's, James is also the second X Factor act to appear after One Direction, he has another entry to come, OD have two more, Olly Murs has two, Union J have two, Sam Bailey has one, Little Mix has one and Leona Lewis has one.

I have no idea how OWoA(TK) wasn't bottom.

PS. one of those 5's for Harlem Shake was mine, guilty as charged.

Oh Jessie, although I was never her biggest fan, I did like some of the songs from "Who You Are", but this album's releases all seem generic with this single being the worst offender, with Jessie J trying to do a P!nk single, but without any of the originality and a faux attitude, with stupid lyrics. "Wild" is still to come and thankfully it is better.

It was only in the top ten for five weeks, which was nearly enough for it be bottom, probably one more week's worth of voting would have cemented its place.
