Spoilers are indicating it's something to do with Stacey.

Knew that would happen as the only way Stacey can return to the Square is if Janine admits she didn't do anything. With Janine already facing murder by knife, the police will be more inclined to believe Stacey now too. As Janine is already leaving, may as well add this to her departure too :/ . Sucks how they always take Janine's money from her when she's leaving, like only Phil Mitchell the Square Alpha can have any continued success??

Which she will spend on that representation. And David Wicks stole 200 grand, which she never bothered to get back?? Of course the police would believe her when a rich woman has 200k go missing and a man with no money suddenly ends up with it?? ridiculous. She'll come back in a few years and have nothing again.

Stacey was amazing tonight! It's getting a bit ridiculous how much they've been dragging this out, but I'm glad she was in the majority of the episode :wub:

I've not seen tonight's episode but I don't think they've been dragging it out. It was only last week when she was first seen again and I think the idea of having a little bit of her in an episode here and there was a much interesting way of bringing her back than just appearing.

 

Plus it was only right for her to be properly back this week since it's Eastenders' anniversary week and all that.

I've noticed this as well. Some of the directing and camera-work has been absolutely atrocious in the past few episodes.

Just caught up on tonight's episode, wasn't expecting Shabnam to have short hair!

SOOOO pleased Stacey is back, her character is a little tainted for me as she got away with murder but I'm pleased to see her again

Getting Lauren and Stacey into the same room must have been the most contrived sequence of scenes ever. Still loving it though.
