Oh please. It's so much stronger than you would imagine a Kylie ballad to be, esp when you consider her previous form (Cosmic anyone?). An easy 8/10.
In terms of her other collabs, it's not all that amazing, but there is potential to grow. Kinda sweet.

Considering 'Cosmic' is the musical equivalent of dysentery, it's not hard to better it.

'Put Yourself In My Place' is as good as Kylie ballads get.

Oh no. :(

On first listen this is dreadful. I expected a tacky pop stormer considering Enrique was on this, but we get a tacky ear-bleeding ballad. SO disappointed.

It was confirmed ages ago that it was going to be a ballad though.

I kind of like it but the vocoder effect is a little annoying.

Edited by Connor.

This is so bland, I can't believe they are actually going for this as the second single. It literally goes nowhere and the vocal enhancements are so irritating, this will 100% ruin this era before it has even properly got going.
It's his single. Not hers.

It seems to be a 'Kids' situation - that appeared on both Kylie and Robbie's respective albums, it's a duet, although it's slightly more of a Robbie single than a Kylie one.

I think the song is ok actually but definitely not singles material and won't do much to help her album.

This is quite a nice song, but I can see why people don't like it. It doesn't really go anywhere and certainly not a mistake she can afford to make as a second single. It might not be the second single from Kiss Me Once though, maybe it'll just be for Enrique's album - apparently the record labels "need to reach an agreement".

I think it would be a stunning track minus the vocoder, I really don't see why they've saturated the song with effects :drama:

According to the tracklist, the duet is apparently a "bonus track" so I guess it would count as Enrique single.

It's not a bonus track on Kylie's.

Oh the title of the thread is misleading then! Thanks god if it's not single #2 then.

I do like Kylie ballads but this isnt by any means her strongest, im not sure it should be a single at all whether its Enrique or Kylie releasing it as eiher way i think it would damage sales of her album more than anything, if Into the Blue builds up interest in the album i can see this taking away from it.

Single #2 is officially 'Sexercize'...

Source? That cover art better not be official, it's hideous.
