What UKIP gay marriage row?

I think it's because someone from the UKIP said acceptance of gay people caused the recent flooding.

That song was uploaded over 4 years ago, what makes you think it would definitely go top 10 if it was released now?

Because that's Abdul for you :P

Yep he said he "warned" David Cameron that bad things would happen if they passed the gay marriage bill, and that we can be "cured through prayer" :drama: what a tool (being very polite with my choice of words!), but I won't go into this on the iTunes thread

Britney's 'Perfume' is officially released next week and currently sits at... #1054!

Such a shame it's come to this for her, such a good song as well.

It's far from her best but it really deserves to at least do something :(

Wow - it was in the 400's a few nights ago.

I remember In The Zone before all her troubles, she was like the next Janet Jackson.

Anywhoo, pleased to see Riptide this high and I hope for Passenger-leek success. Well, actually, I don't as I think Sail is better. If both songs could get that type of success, great!

Pharrell Williams - Happy has been played on both the NTAs and CBB.

To be fair, songs like Can't Hold Us, Look Right Through, Get Up (Rattle) were first released in 2011 and were chart hits in 2013, so it wouldn't be totally impossible.

What was that thing you talked about last year, Eric, scouters or something who are paid to promote tracks for use in tv, etc?

Yeah, we had someone from the IFPI give a lecture, and he was talking about what he expects to see in the future of the music industry. He said the role that people are getting employed for the most atm are for sync teams, which are people who are paid to suggest songs to companies to use in their advertisements, films, TV shows, etc. For example if you're suggesting a song for an advert, the people on the sync teams have to go to the company and say why using the song will help sell their product, appeal to the age group, gender, etc. they're targeting, and so on. It benefits the record companies as well, since if the sync teams are successful in convincing someone to use their song, they can make a lot of money from royalties, and it can help a song sell a lot.

Looking back, songs like We Are Young and Jar of Hearts being used on Glee were probably the work of sync teams pitching them to the writers of the show.

Busta Rhymes at #11! :o :cheer: Also why is My Hitta back in the top 100?

325. iamamiwhoami - Fountain

 TEARS OF JOY

75. Katy B - Crying for No Reason

Also - 931. Chart AllStarz - Crying For No Reason (In the Style of Katy B) :music:

The highest version of If I Lose Myself is now at 40. So this ensures Ryan Tedder another hit on the horizon. Especially after a slow start.

Busta Rhymes is a genius ;)

Because of his homophobic rants or his violent convictions?.
