When images are posted on the forum, I see them in a reduced size and there's a banner across the top of them saying 'Reduced size: 75% (??? x ??? pixels) Click to see full size image'.

How can I view images without this? It appears to just be a problem on this forum for me, because it's not happening on other forums.

Even the banner for the chartshow is reduced though

It's to stop page-stretching images. The chart show banner is just an unfortunate innocent victim.
It looks better in my opinion.

It looks terrible. Why not just use smaller images instead of having a gaping banner across the top of an image that makes it look tacky?
Sorry, I should have made what I said clearer. Sometimes I've wanted to post images on here but they're too big.

the idea is for it to only effect images which are bigger in size than the browser window so it will only impact those.

Are you viewing on a mobile or PC? I dont see it reduced...

Yeah, the chart banner is playing up for me as well and I'm using a PC!

The irony of Calum posting that pic which is then reduced

It was actually around on the site before I registered and it was removed a wee while ago at the request of PC mods.

It's a returning feature and I am so beyond thrilled to see the black bar back.

You expect moderators to police every image members post? The chart forum banner aside this is a perfect solution to gigantic images.
