Welcome to the Girls Aloud singles survivor!

 

The forum's been a little dead lately so I thought I'd start this up to get some more people posting here, hope the mods don't have any problems. The basis of the game is to vote for your LEAST favourite single, and the single(s) with the most votes every week get eliminated until we are left with just one track - your winner.

 

To change things up a bit from past GA singles rates, etc. I've included the solo singles too so we can see how they'd fare in comparison to the GA singles we all know and love. I've not included features like Heartbreaker and Like U Like because it would be stretching this a bit further than we need to I think. :kink:

 

In the meantime, get voting using the poll for your LEAST favourite single! We'll have more than one elimination this week (depending on how many votes we get, etc.) so we can whittle this long list down a bit quicker.

 

Feel free to state what song you voted for in this very thread also. I'll leave this open for a couple of days depending on the interest this receives. GO GO GO.

Any solo material by Kimberley is HORRID (you just need to hear the first few seconds of 'Defying Gravity' to work that out), so 'One Day I'll Fly Away' got my vote.

There are no tracks there that I actively dislike (I listened to - the pretty good - 'Sweetest High', for the first time today). It was a toss up between the inoffensive, but nothingy tracks, 'The Flood' and 'One Day I'll Fly Away'. I went for the former!

I agree that nothing here is bad, but I had to vote for One Day I'll Fly Away, it just doesn't compare to any of the others.

The actual FUCK?! One of the BEST songs currently 2nd fave to go?! ARE U ON CRACK MOTHERFUCKERS

 

My vote is for Fight For This Love definitely. DEFINES the word SHIT. In fact I think I saw it in the latest dictionary edition.

This is my LEAST favourite form of 'opinion poll' on Buzzjack, but it seems to have created discussion thus far, so as long as it doesn't drag out to 30-odd rounds, I'm fine with it. Try getting rid of 4/5 for the first few rounds maybe, before the double/single elimations begin to occur please maybe? :P

I know Lee's requested in the Sats AF that members ask first, I wasn't sure whether you'd have preferred that here or not. And yeah, that's currently the plan, all depends on where the votes go towards really.
