List looks pretty perfect to me. I think Summer Nows are at their strongest in recent years whereas about 8-10 years ago they were quite weak.

Are there any obvious omissions that we can think of, that they've kept off? I really can't think of any, I think they've got pretty much all the main, big hits.

I'd say the only obvious omissions are "Don't Wake Me Up" and "The Power" but they've put on "Turn Up The Music" and "Hot Right Now" instead. :D

That's a pretty decent tracklist for a Now! album. Agree with Jonjo, they've pretty much got all the big hits from the last 4 months on there.

Token :w00t: for Loreen. When was the last time a Eurovision winner was tracklisted on a Now! album?

Also will 'Greyhound' be the full 6 minute version, or will they have the radio edit (or video edit) of the song instead?

'Oh My Goodness' is missing, but other than that is OK...

Because it's crap.

I think it might be a first. As far as I can see, the only Eurovision entries to appear on a Now album are:

Now 31: Love City Groove - Love City Groove

Now 34: Gina G - Ooh Aah... Just A Little Bit

Now 40: Imaani - Where Are You?

Now 43: Precious - Say It Again

I'm guessing there was a label issue with Katrina & The Waves, if not, then leaving Love Shine A Light off was bang out of order!

Wrong record label, it appeared on the Hits albums instead! It was on Fresh Hits 97 and Huge Hits 97 iirc!

Yes, GD is right. 1997 - the year compilations dominated where my pocket money went.

By having Now! and Hits albums, it meant I was able to get more tracks than I would've done had there only been a Now! album without any record lable issues. When did they stop compiling the Hits series?

Summer Hits '06, from summer 2006 (surprising I know! :P) was the last one that I ever saw, such a shame that they stopped making them but I guess they're completely redundant now because there are far less chart entries and with the record label issues seemingly resolved, the Now series pretty much covers everything.

Er... yay Euphoria? :D

Cover Drive is a nice suprise too, I wasn't expecting Sparks to be on there, but then I wasn't expecting much. It's a fairly good tracklisting on the whole.

There's no 'Niggas In Paris', although that's hardly unexpected. No 'Live My Life' either although they've got 'Boyfriend' on there. Also no 'Climax' but they've got 'Scream' instead. Apart from that they've pretty much nailed all the expected inclusions and made space for a few less expected ones as well.

Seems like people don't really have anything negative to say about the new issue :cheer: Can't wait to get it, along with Now That's What I Call a Number One

Brought Now That's What I Call a No. 1. And me and my mum love it, it's such a great spin off. I think this and Now Running are really good. Apart Now Love, the Now Spin-Offs are getting really good

For the US the cover Now 43 has been released:

Obviously using the cover from Now 81.

Brought my copy today :cheer: This may sound odd, but it just doesn't feel like a Summer Now. Probably because the cover isn't very summery and the weather in the UK has been crap, but still.

Btw, for people who like Euphoria but not the other NOW songs, she's on this fantastic new Clubland album...

Holy shit, NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED

This is actually, genuinely my favourite Now album since Now 74, at least! I think it's captured the hits perfectly and I think they've got the tracklisting (and order) pretty much spot on in terms of how big they are and in terms of consistency. Very nice. Most of these are summer anthems, so I disagree with Spiral on that part.

Wow at that Clubland Eurodance album! Fantastic tracklist! :o Nice to see they've gone for 'Evacuate the Dancefloor' over 'Everytime We Touch' for a change :o (Even though I far prefer EWT still)

Infernal, Scooter, ATC, Loreen, Sak Noel, Cascada, Sonique, Ian Carey, Roll Deep, DJ Antoine, Inna, O-Zone and Aurora all on the same album?! :o

That is a fantastic tracklist, and the ones I've listed are just the ones I've noticed from a quick scan.

Yeah, I really love that Clubland album. Gonna be great for the rest of the summer (and summers to come).

Also, the tracklisting for Now Chilled is out and I'm quite pleased with it. Much better than Now Love

  9. The Feeling - Sewn
  10. Duffy - Warwick Avenue
  11. Gabriella Cilmi - Sweet About Me
  12. James Morrison - You Make It Real
  13. James Blunt - High
  14. Travis - Side
  15. Crowded House - Weather With You
  16. Semisonic - Secret Smile

  18. Radiohead - Street Spirit (Fade Out)
  19. Richard Ashcroft - A Song For The Lovers
  20. Air - All I Need
  21. Enigma - Sadeness (Part 1)
So glad Lana, Norah, Lady Antebellum and Goldfrapp are on it. Questionable songs are Take Your Mama by Scissor Sisters and Smile by Lily Allen, not really "chilled" songs in my book.
